Dev REQUEST: In 4.0, EXP to level 60 dungeons/trails and pvp & get rid of PotD req.

I rather this time that EXP be added to level 60/trials sooner rather than later; then spamming SB dungeons over and over. More diversity for the leveling up process is always a good thing.

Since gear or stats won’t matter - pvp ranking/ points, pvp materia, and pvp gear have little to no value – besides glamor. In order to energize PVP- people need an incentive to PVP; therefore, the inclusion of EXP will give people more of a reason to Pvp besides tomestone grind.

Lastly, could you guys please get rid the requirement for PotD floors 101- 200? Let more players experience these floors besides spamming floors 51-100. Please don't nerf just make it more accessible.

No, no, no - have you done this floors? Like at all? Putting them in DF will mean they're going to be nerfed in one way or another. They are NOT faceroll DF-content but a challenge and due to the nature of PotD (one wipe=you have to start over from floor 51) you really dont want to run them with randoms who can easly screw you over. Please keep part of this content as the challenge that it was intended to be.

Unfortunately, I can't agree with the POTD change. The game needs more challenging and high risks/high reward content, and taking that from POTD would just make the entire thing nothing but leveling zerg fest. I love the fact that your gear and your weapon has no effect in the instance, so it isn't affected by the level cap increase. Its in a position to stay as challenging as it is, and I would like for it to stay that way.

But adding more ways to gain exp im always down for. Being able to level in PVP, now that there is no level restriction, would be a lot of fun. I would certainly consider doing more pvp if that was the case.

Also add a way to lose exp if get killed, or people will do win-trade

I solo'd them up to 141, where I got killed by a patrol while tabbed out to make a youtube playlist.

They are the same faceroll dumbness you have the first 100 floors - even the bosses are just reskinned versions of their 1-100 counterparts, they don't even have new mechanics from what I could see. All that changes is the health and damage scaling up, so you'd likely need to enforce a trinity comp for those, but that's all.

I agree with the opening potd 101-200 as myself I solo up to 130 or something been awhile and seem to need a group for anything above 151+ and PF can't find people and if by some miracle do then get so far and either can't get them all on to finish or they just don't want too so was a waste of time doing it and trying to get them back on

so least they need to do make it so group and kick out a member/members and get a new person/persons in when one or more flake out and or the other get sick of waiting for them to get back on

The current solo record is at 180.

I don't think it's possible to go higher solo - The meteor spam of the behemoth is a simple DPS check and you can only do so much DPS when alone. Stats over skill, nothing you can do. That's also why DPS are consistently worse than healers and tanks in there (sans Summoner, who's all 3 in one)

No one of you guys who wnat this to be open uped has given me a decent reasurenace that this isnt gonna happen - I would really like the devs to stand their ground here and stick to their desicion... if they back down to adjust to YOUR needs now and change this content, whos telling me thats they wont do that in 3 months again to adjust to those crybabies that lost their saves? Yes, I want to have faith in the devs and thats why I'm asking to leave this content as it is.
I'm not basing my concerns on a personal experience you or I might have - I'm basing it on a bigger "statistic" that we can assume looking at what happend to lots of other content. I've seen them making many, many compromisses to accomendate to people who want to play solo but see everything - mainly ofc the addition of a NM version of raids so everyone can experience the story (killed my raiding motivation btw, but thats me, I know) - and yet you sit here and cry that you cant see those extra 10 bosses? Well, what you technically can...

...because again: if you're okay with wipes and fails - go in alone, whats stopping you?
And how is waiting in PF different from waiting in DF?

On the matter of being able to do it solo: Yes, its easy enough to solo - yet another reason we dont need it in DF: Everyone can already do that content. Opening it up to randoms also means: Opening up to randoms who will make mistakes. I just dont want to see this content get nerfed because people come to the forums and cry about someone who ruined their safe-file.

The content will likely be nerfed regardless, since it's going to be lvl 60 capped and the cap is going up. At some point it may be considered irrelevant and nerfed.

And thats your reason we shouldnt ask for this content to be a challenge as long as possible? I'm sorry but thats stupid - we're all eventually going to die too, doesnt mean you have to end it today...

We also dont know if its going to nerfed - they could also just keep it as challenging content and either raise the level cap or even leave it as it is. Implementing caps on stats even when level 70 shouldnt be to difficult (seeing how my level 60 paladin has about 25k HP with 99/99 in PotD but easly 10k more with ilvl270 outside of it).

I'm not asking for it to be nerfed, I am just saying that asking for it to be less accessible in fear that popularity will result in it being nerfed IS stupid.

Same applies to both scenarios. Allowing people to form DF groups for it does not mean it would be nerfed, especially if it's not highest tier progression content. Sorry, I have seen what has happend to content like Pharos, Steps of Faith... people were struggeling even a little bit , so they complained and perfectly fine content got nerfed.
I have also seen people in PotD-parties aswell as the higher floors - and no way those randoms can actually properly progress past 130. They require you to be careful and work together as team - and I dont see that happening in PotD.

Steps of Faith is required MSQ progression, and Pharos required to be able to access the level 50 roulete [eventually.] Both things that block progression if they are too hard for most people to actually do.

Cool, PotD doesnt block anything. Floors 101-200 arent even adding anything to the story, so they can stay that optional, out-of-DF-so-no-one-will-cry-for-nerfs challenge, right?

Pharos got nerfed because people skiped that dungeon (keeped it unlocked). The requiremt to clear all dungeons for lv 50 roulette came together with the Pharos Sirius nerf.
