What is the best LPS? (lore per second)

What is the best way to get lore for umbrite? My friend on novice network claimed it was the great gubal library hard and my friend still thinks it should be the aetherochemical research facility since it is 150 (50% increase) meaning if ARF takes 25 mins to complete, she breaks even with 17 min GGLH runs. But we do not know how the bosses factor in this (each drops an amount)

so what is best? or potentially best?

Gubal HM takes 11ish minutes with ilvl 260ish DPS that can AOE properly & even the fastest runs of ARP are around 18-20 minutes. In the end it just matters how good you're geared & if you're a good DPS.

Bosses don't drop Lore, that's just the dungeon lore broken into bits. I didn't know this either for a long time lol.

When i do gubal hard farm group through PF we can finish it at about 10mins30s each run. That is ofc need everyone to be decent at their jobs and healer dps. I never tried to push ARF so don't know if we can push it under 15mins (which i find hard to achieve :P). On other note though, gubal drops gears you can exchange for GC seals for some items you might need for other relic steps too.

PvP gives a good rate, i cap in a few hours

Spamming PVP isn't a bad way. I've been working on my second anima weapon while also working on my feast achievements, got a few hundred just non-stop spamming it. It's probably not the fastest but it allows me to work on two things I want at once.

50 lore for 25-30 min per run isnt really good for "farming", lol.

Gubal HM can be done in like 7-8 minutes if everyone's DPS is shit hot, best way to farm lore.

If you like PVP, just do a PVP day with friends and your Lore will cap in no time.

The higher floors of Palace of the Dead isn't terrible if the group is more interested in speed running it. I would have to agree that ARF and Gubal Hard are the best bets after your daily roulette.

I actually prefer Xelphatol for farming tomestones. It rewards 100 Lore, it doesn't sync your gear, its quick even with players new to it, it actually drops greens you can desynth or cash in for GC seals, and there's no crazy pulls or mechanics to worry about.

Overall it's easier and faster to run than ARF, and far and away more lucrative.

i second gubal HM if you're sick and tired of ARF. on JP datacentre we clear it in around 10-12mins with random DF people at i270 + the green gear you get trades for a good amount of gc seals so win win for relic-anima :)

Umm, I assumed from the title that the question was about which duty gave the most story content and background information per second spent inside it.

I had similar thoughts when I clicked on the link. I thought it might be the most efficient way to plow quickly through Main Scenario quests without missing on any of the important storyline bits. Like, "You can click through the Titan cutscenes, but be sure to slow down and watch Nanamo's banquet..." That kinda thing. (Not that I'd agree with that particular case, as I felt the Titan cutscenes DID convey some important bits of lore - but I digress.)

Just curious how Gubal is done in 7 mins? what gear are you wearing, I have done normal speed runs which take around the 30min mark and done speed runs only saving 5-6mins... I am in I255 gear (tank) but would it be down to the gear of the dps and the make up of the dps group? It seems if you rely solely on the AOE of the Range then the DPS on bosses is somewhat reduced because Melee DPS are generally the kings when it comes to single target killing.

Best lore per second is level 60 roulette. But outside of that it's Gubal HM with a good geared party otherwise ARF.

Around 265-270, this was with me as a MNK and my friend as a NIN, as well as a DRK and AST, no issues burning down mobs or bosses with ease, granted, this is with really high effort from everyone, obviously comp will have something to do with it, but duo melee had no trouble at all and having a tank and healer pushing out heavy DPS will be a big factor too.

Yea I guess if your sticking in a Warrior or Dark Knight in the tank slot then some of the times can be shaved as they can deal out more damage than a Paladin currently.

I read the title of this thread and got extremely confused trying to figure out why someone would want to min-max their obtaining of lore. "Read fast, I guess???" xD

Huh? At i255, if it's taking more than 15 minutes something is wrong. I've run NIN/Everything and had healers who didn't DPS and still never saw a run above 17 minutes yet.

In my time I did got to farm aetherialresearch whatever is call the dam dungeon with about 15min run.

Was pre made an we all have high dps.
I did a PF locking the roles an demanding high play lv, that's how I got all my stones for the relic an work like a champ.
