I don't like this one bit. It looks like we killed the moogles, stuffed them, and put them to hang on top of weapons ... ffs, the pugilist weapon has their torn off faces on the punching part!

Also, they are a bit too cartooney in style if you ask me. I think I liked XIV's realistic style.

Its funny, made me laugh. Best one was the H2H and Axe.

Every single piece looks ridiculous. If they look like that I wont bother with them.

I think the entire content is suppose to be a comical event. Moogles are funny cute characters after all so I think it fits.

Weapons look fine to me, It's only a game after all.

I don't understand this strategy. Why would one bring out new content that makes the content from the previous patch obsolete. A moogle suit would have been fine. But weapons again? Really? I can throw away my Ifrit weapon(s) already? Really?!

What if they actually have comparable stats with either small differences that can make they better in some sittuations and worse in others?

Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if they have the exact same stats and just a different element.

I dont like them, the Axe looks great, the sword looks really stretched, the pug looks too soft and with their heads on front it looks very violent lol.

Also "Dark Moogle" was much more fear-sum and exciting than "Good King Moogle".

Heheh, every game could stand to have a little sillyness here and there. :P

i like the way they look just fine, they made me giggles. i don't get too into realizm or what a game should have or not have graphically and looks wise. my fav parts of ffxi even were the gridania quests cause it was all tarutaru's and it just made me smile and laugh witch is what moogles do as well ..so like some have stated it fits in fine.

but like one has mentioned though ...dun dun dun ...why weapons again? i already felt like i knew that the ifrit weapons were gonna be useless after that fight but now that it's happened it's like ehhhh? why? a nice pair of shoes would of been cool. basically what it means to me is only do the content for 1 piece for 1 class and your really done. why gear every class you have, all it is at this point is for the sake of doing so only.

and yeah endgame usually is just gearing a class, and if you do more it just makes the battles easier to gear. it's a retarded cycle though when you only have just that content to use it in.

My guess is they'll either be the same stats or a slidegrade and definitely a different element so I'm in agreement there. The bigger question is what kind of storage options are they going to give us? Inventory will clog up FAST if they keep adding 7 situational weapons each fight.

All weapons look cool, but spear and bow suck greatly in design.

You know that Ifrit weapons are fire element and Moogle weapons not? I don't think the Moogle weapons are better as the Ifrit weapons, only different.
In some MMO you have a whole set of different weapons in the endgame

I agree that the lack of inventory space will be a problem if we keep like this. Garuda drops are also pretty much confirmed to be even more weapons, lol.

Well....it's not like we *have* to get all 7 weapons for every fight, but they indeed need to do something about this, even if it's just something indirect like finally giving us event gear storage or something.

event gear space being free space would be great, specially for when they take away our 200spaces back down to 100 ...i'm dreading that day. i can't imagine having one weapons for all my classes either. even with 200spaces.

I like the Thaumage weapon, and conjurer but omg lol the pugilist weapon poor moogles~ But I love the first few seconds of the Video. Kupo!

I thought the con and thm weapons looked interesting. And the sword and axe looked cool. Glad to see that these don't over shadow the irritating weapons and hopefully those will still be viable. :)

I like everything but Axe and Bow, they look too normal.. can't they at least makes it spin around like the staves lol? The Fork looks kinda normal too.. but they have this mechanic to lenghten it when in active mode which is kinda not-as-normal, so i'm fine with those.

You guys have to remember why this event exists. We might think it's over just because the news has found other sh!t to talk about, but Japan's been pretty devastated by the very two natural disasters that embody the Primals of the other existing tribes.

It would be TERRIBLE form to release Titan (which was supposed to be the next primal) because he's the embodiment of an earthquake, and it'd be terrible form to release Leviathan, the embodiment of a tsunami, at this time. Remember when Pokemon used New York as a map inspiration and actually added Ground Zero? Like, that level of bad form.

Instead, they took the opportunity to bring some FINAL FANTASY to the game and Moogle it the F**K UP for a few weeks. The event is supposed to make people smile; it's light-hearted, fun, and everything the Moogle is supposed to be. Why would you be frustrated that the weapons are of the "Goofy Sh!t" art style? I think it's high time for some goofy sh!t, if only for this event.

No. No no no. I refuse to do this fight, because the moogle looks so damned cute with a sword and shield. I cannot bring myself to hit something that adorable.

Also, to people who don't like the weapons because they're not "realistic," I have some bad news. You're playing a fantasy game. Exactly what part of a moogle is supposed to be "realistic?"

pug weapon was ridiculous.. hahahaha. japs are crazy. The rest was totally meh. Only the axe was cool looking.

Why is everyone talking about only the looks of the weapons? Maybe, just maybe, they have good stats!
