/Play Dead

I "died" a little when i saw this.

Though can't wait to get my hand on this despite their choice.

I'm a little bit upset that we finally get a play dead emote, but they're behind a paywall. I'm still going to buy the new emotes with great joy and extreme prejudice.

SE can take their straight to cash shop emotes and shove them up their ***!

You know if you milk a cow too much all you get is blood...

$7 for a bloody emote? Siigh.

Not really happy they're for the Mogstation but I guess I'll get them...*rolls eyes at SE*

I hope this emote is persistent, where you play dead and stay that way as long as you want.

Was wondering and hoping the same thing myself; hope it is persistent seeing as we have to pay for it... :/

Am I the only one that thought of the part when snake has to play dead to get out of jail in MGS3 when I saw this emote?

Remember when emotes had cute little quests like the 3 dances WAY back? Yea why can't we have that anymore??? FFS.

Eh, as much as I would like these emotes, I think I'll pass, purely for the reason that I fail to see any proper reason to put these emotes to mogstation.

I don't think those were white knights. "Testing the waters" is more of a warning than an attempt to excuse SE's behavior with the cash shop. But you're right... those waters have been tested and this is where we're at now.

And it will only get worst from here on, I bet that play dead emote will generate lots of revenue. I'm kind of neutral on the double dipping system, but I wish the price are a little lower since they are double dipping...

$7? Really? They're €4,90 in the EU shop which seems a more reasonable price. Worth considering, at least.

If your meaning as a new class....it honestly wouldn't shock me. I am all for adding emotes to the cash shop if they were missed due to an event but the fact they go straight to the shop just saddens me. More so that instead of people getting mad they are just opening their wallets and saying "Sure, no problem!"

Seeing as the Lodestone is still down for maint. as well as the mogstation, where is everyone getting this info.? Yes I see the emote in the topic from the lodestone, but clicking on "details" just takes me back to the maint. homepage. Where is everyone seeing it's $7?

All 3 people with Odin emote I know bought statue only for the emote. Not sure if they throw it away or not because they dont care about it, but might as well say emote costs $120.

This was in the datamine, we knew it was coming, its not needed to beat the game or anything, and again its just $7. What is with the anger? I honestly don't get what the big deal is, kindly explain what is wrong here.

I just googled mogstation, went to the url, made very sure the url was correct and then logged in to see the prices.

To be fair, people should be more excited about the statue they're getting and not just throwing it in the trash after for an emote.
But I'm not going to tell people how to spend their money but I will comment how silly it was when people were upset an emote was $120 when they're forgetting it comes with an awesome FFXIV style Odin statue. If for some reason my code was invalid for the emote when I got the statue, I couldn't give a shit, I got something great to display in my case to go along with my other FF merch.

This game is not free. We are paying subscrptions but apparently that's not enough to have access to all content, pure glamour or not.

$7 per character, for an emote that could have been added to a questline to flesh out the patch a little more.

I opened up the launcher, saw the "New Optional Items Available!" post and clicked the Mogstation link through that. Was able to log in and check prices.

Clicking the image banner brings up a popup with the info. There's a link to Mogstation at the end of it.

I got it for both the statue and the emote, cause I'm a sucker for XIV's Odin. The pricing is actually kind of reasonable for the detail on the statue. Make a good display because it look badass! :3
