Jobs in ffxiv that your want see be add but may be afraid won't

i think the job I afraid about is Beastmaster there some many amazing animals that could be also pets

i love see what Yoshi P and his team would do with blue mage

Summoner, I've wanted Summoner job for so long. Hopefully its added and they don't mess it up....

The geomancer class is not very common in the series, but it had a few incarnations. Final Fantasy Tactics is my favorite game of all time, and geomancer was my favorite class in that game. I also liked it very much in Final Fantasy 3. I understand that conjurer has a bit of the geomancer style in them, but white mage deviates from that. I would like a true geomancer class in FF14. I know it won't happen, though. It is too obscure a class.

Another I would personally like is dancer. Now, to be honest, the only game of the series that I have played that had a playable dancer class is, once again, Final Fantasy Tactics, but I know it appeared in a few other games. In FFT, dancer was an offensive class with their regular attacks, and their dances were either offensive or inflicting debuffs/status effects (and had no healing at all). When the Stormblood trailer first showed up, I got excited because of that one character that looks like a dancer, but I soon understood that she was not.

They really just need to let us use primal minions and add simple ice/fire etc

Puppet master ... My favorite job from FFXI. Ever since I first saw mammets in the opening scene in 1.0 uldah I have hoped for this job one day ....

If they do add it, I would just hope they make the pet more important than summoners pet.

Time Mage sure would be nice too.

Geomancer, specifically Geomancer Healer so I can have a raise macro that says "Bring out ya dead! Bring out ya dead!" cause of that bell, also cause Geomancer is awesome!

Outside of that? Blue Mage, Mystic Knight, Chemist, Dancer, and just to throw a weird curve ball, Sage. I'd love a glass cannon caster.

I would have loved Chemist as a gun wielding healer. It was already pretty unlikely with Alchemist already being in the game, and now it's next to impossible with Machinist as the gun job.

I suppose they could give Chemists pistols and remove pistol-type weapons from MCH, like when they removed Daggers from PLD.

Ranger.

The job most people from 1.0 wanted archer to become

Blue Mage, Dancer, and maybe some variation on Bravely Default's Spellblade?

Ranger.
Summoner.
Beastmaster.
Puppetmaster.

Lastly, something likely to be added but made wrong - ala Summoner - is Dancer.

I always want a Time Mage get into FFXIV

but with AST act little bit like Time mage, and other time mage skill already spread across in different class

i doubt Time Mage will actually make into FFXIV

Mystic from FFT is so much fun, but i dont think the mechanic in FFXIV can fit Mystic

Red Mage seem to be the Onion Knight I want, so I dont really care the name of the class

and finally Sword Saint, which i feel if it ever get into FFXIV, it is be more like a mirror clone to Dark Knight...

Chemist and Dancer, though I feel Dancer has a much higher chance of being added. Either as a mid expansion job or in 5.0

Puppetmaster or a Whip based job, I have no idea how they would implement them if they keep to their current restrictions.

I'd like to see a non-feminine Healer and I am afraid that's not gonna happen.

Don't count yourself out because of that, CHM could get a funky weapon like RDM. Imagine a "Transmuter" (TSM) job that weilds an aetherochemical medical tool (imagine a syringe gun with very obviously customisable chemicals), I think that is unique enough to separate it from both ALC and MCH.

(If you can't tell I really want CHM too)

When it comes to Chemist, I kinda look to FFX2 on a possible way for it to be. As it was mentioned but RDM, PLD, DRK all use swords, just a different type. So having a 2nd gun type isn't too far off and I think would also fix this as well...

Perhaps instead of bullets, energy cannon type deal? Would also somewhat satisfy the whole chemist throwing potions to heal by instead shooting your team mates with love. :3

People can't even handle 4 buttons on Obey. You honestly think this playerbase could do a more involved pet class?

That's cause they have 25 of their own buttons to worry about too.

If a pet heavy class was designed that way from the start, a lot of your abilities would be the pet's.

I'd like to see Summoner. Like bass9020 on the first page said, it's strange they've not added this FF classic yet. You'd think it'd be a high priority given its status in the series! It's also likely to meet most people's expectations as the job's themes are fairly well established - I mean, presumably the summon or pet would be the main focus of the job.

Failing that, other pet-focused jobs like Beastmaster or Puppetmaster would be fun. I'd also like a pure support class - maybe something like Green Mage, or possibly even Bard, which I'm also surprised they haven't already added.

I'd also like to see a decent hybrid Red Mage added too. Obviously the hybrid element is a key part of the job's identity, so it'd be a real shame if they cheesed the melee component as just a gimmick without any real substance, or focused on just one aspect of the job at the expense of the others. But I'm certain they would never rip apart a job's well-established identity just to crush it into a balefully inadequate and poorly thought out job system. That would just be absurd!

I feel if the pet itself was under full control and the player followed behind or even the pet moving in sync with us I feel it would work better. Being our 1-2-3 combo is actually the pet doing the work while our character simply waves their hand/signals/commands the strikes. The pet being the actual weapon, maybe the pets could change based on weapon? True glamour there I'd think or perhaps the pets could get their own created interface like when we create ourselves/retainers that can be changed with the use of a Pet Fantasia.

However, here is an example I feel would fit for the game.

However, as I said, imagine the pet just being on a leash/chain in front of us while doing the same. We ourselves do no actual fighting.

I'd like to see Viking. Game lacks a hammer wielding class. No, blacksmith doesn't count.

I mainly want to see what Yoshi P. Would do with Juggler. It would be interesting to see. Could use Ninja gear.

Puppetmaster and a real Bard class. Though I like the current Bard in the game, reading FFXI's version really made me want to try their's out and it'd be nice to have a different type of DPS that isn't all about attacking. And with Puppetmaster, I find it both cute and really cool how FFXI's verision mimics it's master's every move and attacks for them.

Though I doubt either of these classes will be added to FFXIV, I'm a tiny bit hopeful they do.

1. Ranger - non cast ranged dps
2. Dancer - healing melee

I like everyone else's ideas so far but those are my top 2 that I would love to see but pretty sure it won't happen.

Jobs I would like to see:

- Dancer
- Blue Mage
- Rune Fencer
- Puppetmaster
- Beastmaster
- Geomancer
- Corsair
- Gun Mage

Those are just some off the top of my head
