What's the DRK wearing in the Diadem bit? Looks new but also close to the lv 50 Arachne pieces? The sword is what I'm guessing is the final relic stage.

The ending voice of the Griffith at the end of the trailer reminded me of Domo from Gundam

Its the primal weapon.

OMG THE SQUALL OUTFIT and......its.....crafted......gear..*SIGH* I guess I won't be getting it on my server cause it will be made only by the top crafters for like MILLIONS of gil I don't have. I thought it was the final vet reward, not crafted.

Edit: Nevermind its vet reward of 1440, 11 months to go for me weeee.

YES!

Loving the new Raid Gear more and more. And I'm guessing those're Demon Weapons they're seen equipped with? Hard to tell, but the DRG Spear at least looks pretty cool. The new casual glamour outfit looks nice too.

Really looking forward to the new raid and new MSQ.

Can't wait to do the main story :D

It's not crafted, it's rank 14 veteran reward. They were showing ranked pvp gear in previous trailer too and only a few people got it.

The trailer is so-so for me, not as hype as 3.4 trailer IMO.

Can't wait for the main scenario looks pretty fun. I would have liked if they specify which is coming in 3.55.

The one you're thinking of that's shown in the trailer is based of his Dissidia Attire which is just his original outfit redesigned slightly.

Unless you actually meant you WERE expecting the VIII outfit to show up.

Any one else notice what might be a slight issue with the egi-glamours? The summoner changed Garuda-Egi into a Ruby Carbuncle, which is great, we aren't stuck with one color per role. But the attacks are all the same as if they came from Garuda-Egi or Emerald Carbuncle, shouldn't the attacks take on the color of the carbuncle? It's something minor now, and honestly not that big of a deal, but it brings up 2 questions. 1: if we just changed the Egi/Carbuncle why did the system take this long? It seems very simple on the surface, so it's just a little odd. 2:When we get the other Egis, what will those attacks look like? Because if I glamour a Shiva-Egi to Garuda-Egi, I don't wanna see her performing wind attacks. I'm hoping that the reason its taking/took longer than expected, is because they have to make new animations for each egi and move, to seem authentic. I'm willing to wait and see, and I hope I'm right.

Proof that the development team really do read the forums - the lore forum debated the possibility of a Primal version of Dalamud being summoned a while ago. Looks like that has come to pass....

1st, there's no Shiva-Egi, just colored Carbuncles and we can't speculate about future egies as there's "Lore reasons" why there won't be. 2nd, only reason they did this so that people will stop asking for this every time there's a live letter, so they aren't going to waste time on creating new animations for something that's already there. All this is the same when you use a glamour prism to cover up a robe with a bikini.

I'm really curious what they're going to do with the SMN questline in 4.0, since the level 60 quests basically promised that we'd get Ramuh-egi the next time we met up with Y'mhitra.

They already said the carbuncles are just the first of the new egi's, with more coming in future patches, specifically naming ramuh egi and sephirot egi, so those will likely be next (which makes sense since they already have assets to be used for those, which gives them time to make new ones for say, shiva etc.)

The moogles were already shown to be a part of it. It's all the new beast-tribes, them included. Just like the last one was all the beast tribes from ARR, including the crafting Ixali.

I'm really hyped but I didn't see the hairstyle I was looking for so I hope it will be in 3.55?

Finally Yugiri is back and apparently will team up with Alisae to kick butt. We also got a glimpse of Zenos. Someone did not show her face though. 3.5 is supposed to be our first look at the b*tch in the red dress. Maybe it is Yda after all.
