Heavensturn

The innuendos got a laugh but it's still the event i least look forward too because of subpar rewards (do people even wear those hats?) and it's pretty much the same event as last year.

Shouldn't a New years event have more effort put in it?.

I'm liking these hats this year. Its the lil choco.

Its a guaranteed chance be a special snowflake since hardly anyone will be wearing the hats. I dunno why people aren't all over this.

The hats last year were very much meh but the ones this year have been designed rather well. I can see some DRKs running about as SAM with them (as I was kinda gonna do it myself).

They could of made a separate Chocobo Chick to sit on your head without the helmet. Its head could bob whenever you move like the Slime King Crown. >w>

I'll do this event for the same reason I do all events.... I'll do it for the MUSIC!

How do you get the music? I did the quest ending in the FATE and got the headgear but I don't see any follow-up offering the music scroll.

There is 2 event related NPCs standing together nearby, in front of the event quest giver. Just talk to the left one and it opens a merchant window where you can buy the music scroll and some other stuff.

I'm sad. The chocobo doll doesn't wobble constantly. I was hoping it would be like the paissa doll and you could just click it once and it would just rock back and forth until you clicked it again. D:

But... he does look really cute at my table. XD

I love the choco toy! It's a weeble wobble! Weebles wobble, but they don't fall down.

If you can punch it it'd be more fun. like a training dummy, but that'd be too good for SE at this point. Does anyone else find this event extremely lack luster? I love the eastern concept and all but these rewards and that one fate. We had it before in another event, probably the other heavensturn, its still boring. Honestly I've always ignored these events because the rewards and concept looked uninteresting....and I was right.

The hats look boring, adding tiny trinkets above them doesn't make them look better but just more annoying to look at. The jokes, if you even want to call them that. DICK jokes. Really? Out of all the things you could've came up with? Origins of rice cakes, sharing some history of chocobo's or piassa's. You just gave us dick jokes. Fine, but this music....how does COCK jokes settle in this? I think I should've been hearing the papaya theme to make it goofy but I get this ballroom dance music.

Also its short. shortest event I had besides the crap ghost minion one. Don't even feel like recalling memory of that travesty. /rant

Ooh is it one of those steal the mochi from the giant fates again? Those were fun last year, glad to see them again. Also fun to camp as a healer and Rez people. :D
