Request: Mail Moogle/Box at the Apartments

Seriously, why was this not a thing from the start? My apartment and my FC house are in two completely different areas and I hate having to teleport just to check my mail. Please, please SE, give us a mailbox/delivery moogle at the apartment buildings!

House mailboxes are purchasable furniture items. The only way this will happen is if we get one we can place in our apartments.

I hope it's only in the lobby area, and it's done as like a set of shelves. Only works if you live in that apartment complex. So to collect mail you have to go down to the lobby. I'd argue do the same with the mender there.

I'd love that! Currently nobody uses the lobby.. :(

In any case, I'll be glad when I can finally throw away the mailbox in my garden and gain one free furniture slot <3

Oh you'll catch me in the lobby from time to time. I'm also often in my apartment. But yeah, I agree that they're underused at the moment.

That was the sort of angle I was shooting for. Add some realism in there, and without hindering gameplay too much.

On subject, I think the lobbies are usually empty since we can bypass them to get to the actual apartments. I think the opposite would help keep the lobbies a little more lively, but it can be seen as a QoL fix in the wrong direction to force us to enter the extra instance.

Exactly, that's why I wouldn't want to force people to enter the lobby every time they want to enter their apartment. But entering it for mail seems justified in my book :)
