Aetheryte requests

Has anyone else ever felt that some maps are blessed with an abundance of teleport points while others have only one (or even none!) and most of the map is suuuper far away from the place you can teleport to? :eek:

If yes, what are the locations you wish an aetheryte would be added to? :)

For me, it is mostly:

• Red Rooster Stead (Lower La Noscea)
• Whitebrim Front (Coerthas Central Highlands)
• The Dravanian Hinterlands (in general; since there isn't even one aetheryte you have to teleport to a different map - Idyllshire - and go through all the throuble of changing maps just to even get to the area!)

I feel like this is hit or miss for me. While I do understand the feeling at times, I'd dislike the idea of running into even less travellers along the road just because everyone can essentially teleport to exactly where they want to go. Hinterlands is of course an exception but I had some vague idea that they planned on changing that somewhere down the line but maybe my mind if playing tricks on me.

Eastern thanalan, East shroud, whitbrim, coerthas western Highlands, azys la.

I was always baffled me that Red Rooster lacks one. It's such a massive area and you spend a good chunk of time there if you start in Limsa.

Can we add [b]Highbridge[b] to this list?

Although I agree on the Hinterlands, the only spot one would be useful is by Matoya, and I doubt she'd be okay with that...

Vesper Bay would help new players immensely.

Every zone should have 1 aetheryte and no more. Never understood why some zones have 2 its pointless.

It would be cool to get one for the Hinterlands though since they went and made afkshire its own zone!

That one is explained in story. And you can take a boat there from Limsa.

It's not a city-state, so no market board. It won't kill you to walk.

Can I just have teleport to quest giver and teleport to hunt instead?

I want one from my bed to my door and to my roulette queue.

Also can I get aetherite nodes for my positional.

Walking is hard.

I'd like a personal aetheryte (like those mini aetherytes that you put near your house) that you can place anywhere in the world to teleport to. You only get one and to teleport somewhere else, you have to retrieve your aetheryte and move it to the new destination. Make it a reward for beating 4.x (the final update for 4.0) or a vet reward for like, 5 years or something.

Teleporting to idlyshire to grab some eikon materials just to teleport back to a main city is a pain

The afk tome zones are built in areas where the normal city state functions don't exist since its not owned by anyone. Plus its an mmo traveling is suppose to be a thing :)

Dravanian Hinterlands technically has a an Aetheryte in the Arkitekhton, it's just busted and swarming with mean gobbies.

SE gave a reason a while back as to why there is no aetherite in hinterlands, Idyllshire was originally going to be part of Dravanian Hinterlands but while they was creating it they split it off to create a hub for players.

I agree though would be nice to have one but I cant see them giving us it.

Idyllshire being it's own zone was a really smart move as trying to do anything in Mor Dhona was an excercise in frustration with the sheer amount of players that idled there on top of all the content that required you to be in the zone.

It was always a mess.

I think there too many Aetheryte to begin with.

They are not needed same with mounts. The reason being the areas are not scary enough, you could walk from one end of a 60 zone to the other and you would still not die.

This I dont necessarily agree with. It would be convenient for sure, but if you had every single thing you needed in the end game hub, lv 60's would never leave. You would see EVEN MORE people idling there 24/7 than you do now, and the other city states would suffer from it, a lot.. Imagine teleporting to Limsa and not beeing immediately greeted by all the people hanging near the aetheryte, or by the marketboard crafting/searching the market..

I know the lower level players would still be there, but with how fast leveling is, they would all end up in idyllshire in no time at all and the city states would become even more of a ghost town.
