Jump prototype feedback - it's too high

I think the jumping looks too much like an arcade game. Wouldn't it be cool if it looked more like ICO? In other words, about half the height and a more flowing animation. I realize you wouldn't be able to jump as far, but environmental gaps could be shortened in the new map.

Honestly do the people who complain about upcoming changes even read the stuff, or do they just hear some buzzwords and fill in the rest of the information and pretend it's fact?

Well, I've been patiently waiting for the subtitled video for over a week so I decided not to read Reinheart's translation so it wouldn't be spoiled. So, lol i guess.

We can still discuss it. So, I guess everyone agrees that it's too high?
