Hi,I remember FCOB was ez and ppl complained about it so we had Gordias thE hardest raid,hc ppl loved it,part of mc ppl enjoyed it,the reason ppl who loved it was the challenge.I was happy to not clear turns cuz that gave me strenght to keep going,improve,i was happy when i cleared.Than we have the mc ppl frustated about how hard it was.Midas easier thangordias, less dps check,easier in general,hc players werent happy but they had fun,semi-hc players? Happy. Mc ppl?Happy.Soft ppl?Unhappy. Yoshi said next raid wil be easier than midas!. thats my feeling about it:HC players will quit.SEMI-hc players will clear it fast so they will see nothing to do and quit.At some point mc players will clear and nothing to do..soft players will be unhappy and complain because this is their lifestyle,complain cry they want everything fast , max lv weapon asap! So here we are : Gordias made some people quit - Midas was good for every1 i didnt hear any1say i quit cuz of Midas! Next savage ppl quit.

In coil you got 4 unique bosses you couldn't fight anywhere else, a unique set of gear you couldn't get anywhere else, and a small extra story arc... Alexander savage offers NONE of that. Regardless of how much they make it easier, only 2% of people are going to do it because theres still an easier mode that 98% of the players will be content with.Quote:

If the easier mode is set to be "FCOB difficulty"(whatever the hell that means) Than its only going to bring back the same frustrations with content from before, with even less trust of the general playerbase and a heavier reliance on statics. if there is still a lack of interesting content in the face of a harder raid, its not going to solve the issue, just push its biggest problems back onto a different section of the playerbase.

Since Midas was reportedly set to be between Second and Final Coil in difficulty, next tier could simply be FCoB-level difficulty, which would be fine to me. Not like every raider is going to clear it in a week.

I don't remember anyone complaining about Coil. Everyone loved Coil in comparison to Alex.
Fun, interesting fights which could be beaten without a static if you put in the effort, but still hard enough to encourage having one.
I'd enjoy if Alex became like that, but tbh, it wouldn't save it anyway. Whocareswhatmynameis said it already: there is no real incentive to do savage mode except for enjoying the dificulty (and guess what, the people who do that are unsurprisingly a really tiny minority, others only do it for the rewards). But since you get to play through the fight, see the story and wear the pretty new clothes through normal mode already, there isn't an incentive to do savage at all for many players. -

They should make the next 4 floors of Alexander so hard its practically impossible to beat so hardcore static group have something to aim for even tho you cant beat it. That way everyone else would do normal mode and keep that mode always busy.
And the hardcore group have something to enjoy even tho they will never get any gear from it but can brag how they almost came close to beaten A10 savage. -

A4S problem was the DPS check, and the extreme damage Nisi does.
If you let Big doll self-destruct, or/and sacrifice to regulators, it's considered cheesing. Only around 10-20 groups (Maybe less) managed to do A4S legitimately. -

SE just needs to stop the repetitive moves these Alex final bosses do, and stop hiding behind phase shields till we can actually get some damage through to feel like we're progressing.
Putting too many phases in a single fight makes the fight less fun to deal with. I don't have a problem with A8S, just the consistency of phases it offers. 4-6 phases is enough, 9 is too much. -

Never, with any co-healer, have I had to discuss with them how to handle Nisi. It's always spot heal, or 'I'll throw a Cure on top one, you on bottom' and WHM/AST regening them.Quote:

With nisi you have to kill the straf dolls which is a massive dps loss.
