Option to hide Astrologian cards/ card holder?

beige cards are annoying
keystrokes

I'd rather we get card backs related to the weapon than no cards at all

Then don't pay attention to animations?

But how will everyone know that I'm ready to sentence them to the shadow realm?

I agree about the huge 'sheath' on the waist...

I don't find it very appealing.
It's almost like it's a sword and shield.

Sees thread on Astrologian cards - stalks thread.....waiting for rng to be mentioned.........I can wait.......

I want they remove his kind of duel disk...it's really useless, or give him a particular use for his gameplay in next extension, please.

Only if Mch can hide that eye sore of a lunchbox.

MCH has it worse than AST in that sense considering their aether box/battery thing doesn't change to match their weapons. It's the same silver, mechanical box, whereas the card holster matches the look of the astro globe.

I would also like that gauss barrel off command to actually show to other players instead of being just client side...

I honestly thought this was going to be another male healers shouldn't have to wear dresses thread, but I don't really see how this is much of an issue really it's an eyesore sure but the job is like 90% about cards wouldnt make sense to be holding just a spinning piece of metal.

I'd really prefer we get a bigger variety in the duel disk design rather than just changes in color.

I hate it when I'm trying to find a Paladin tank in between raid segments and wind up buffing the Ast instead. Because they look to much like a sword and shield when the globe is put away.

This is almost sillier than people wanting to hide their shields as a paladin.

You can always choose setting to hide weapon/sub-weapon when sheathed.

This is about as ridiculous as PLDs wanting their shields to be hidden. Alright, you can have your hidden cards and sheaths. As long as you don't mind have no access to card abilities and your LB3, because they're reliant on cards. I'm sure that will satisfy one certain individual here who crows non-stop about AST's 'RNG fail'.

Well.... There is the fact that cards spin around our globe when not sheathed. I initially found the card holster a bit redundant, and it looks like our char pulls from the floating globe cards, thus the random nature of drawing.


As for the MCH box, nice to see it's dyable!

Oh, yes please! I don't really mind the card holder per se, but it clips horribly with some outfits (e.g. Owlsight/Owlliege coat). Granted, that's more of a problem with clipping in general (since the globe also has horrible clipping when sheathed), but it would be a nice option to have.

I thought that first pic was a new helmet. Sad it wasn't.

Actually I do like the cards around the globe and the globe with its discs, but I don't like the holder at all. For me, it serves no purpose at all, doesn't make the class any more "unique" if that's what they were trying to achieve (like the damn box on MCH). Both, AST and MCH's extras, just kind of kill the aestetics pretty much.

I main Astrologian and all I view this as is a bizzare QoL suggestion.

What next? Hide the Bards bow. Hide the Scholars fairy. Where does this stuff end.

I understand why they decided to let Machinists hide their barrel. There was obviously overwhelming desire for it. But this is just silly.

I don't think its to crazy of a suggestion to be able to hide the cards that spontaneously swirl out of the weapon change size and are the wrong size when you hold them in your hand. thats also a fine reason to hide the card holder. we don't even visually use it. it wouldn't have a functional disadvantage as it would with hiding a paladin's shield since the cards are just what ever they want to be.

it might be because i use ornate or detailed weapons but cards on top of all the animations makes things visually noisy and i don't think its wrong to dislike it or discuss this topic. i think its fair that Mech should be able to hide their lunch box as well. it might hold all their ammo and turret stuff but you cant say that we don't pull ridiculous things out of our invisible inventory anyway.
