New small clothes

I know this is probably a bit silly but for fun I got all the Emperor's new clothes glamours which makes your character look like their only wearing small clothes. It would be nice to make the body and leg part to look nicer? Would be nice to update them since have been that way since closed beta.

A little off-topic. I remember Mabinogi changing the underwear for male character from a low-rise men's brief to a pair of short, square boxer briefs.
I wouldn't mind seeing a change to small clothes. It happens, or it doesn't. I don't mind.

Since I never had a male character did not know. I am ok if it doesn't change but would be nice now that we can wear our armor and still look like we are running around in them be nice if they were nicer looking. Maybe some lace.

I'm one of those players that likes to be fully clothed. I was hating life for nearly five level when my WHM hit 45 whose AF consists of lacy wrist gloves, a shiny circlet, sexy boots, and a skirt that doesn't even cover my ass. What's the best body piece I can wear? A black hood that only covers my back?? Grrrreat!

That said, I know how much a lot of players love to nekkid their avatars, so of course I am on board. You just won't find me in any dressing rooms trying them on ;)

On a side note: I am still waiting for the Sylphs to make me the dress they promised me ><

Hmm I prefer both male should have proper undershirt like hyur midlander. I feel sad when highlander's undershirt is bondage gear :(

Lol I feel you! I got all the bikinis and halters from the summer event and veteran reward but I NEVER ONCE actually put them on xD. I'd wear a skirt but I gotta have boots.

Knowing about the WHM skirt made me level a different class on first play through lol. Because I wouldn't be able bear having my butt flying all over the place.

While more smallclothes options would be nice, what you're asking for is already in the game. You can glamour any item you want over your pants and top, and if you've been around for a few summers, or are willing to spend some cash on the mogstation or marketboard, there are quite a few swimsuit-style items that double as fancy undies.

That is an important feature to bring back from 1.0 slots for underwear and top

Yup, I have them too! I have worn them though when I've had to interact with NPC's in Costa Del Sol, and also when I put my character to bed at the end of the night. Like you, I am ok with skirts with the right pair of boots. I got SCH and WHM to 50 first, so sadly I did not have access to the glam system and had to deal with the WHM skimpiness. Never again! lol

Me too! I'm not against sensual clothing, but I think that it has to be smart. Just skimpy clothing is ew and boring tbh.
I feel extremely bad when I can see my own butt LOL

We could use some color for small clothes. Like, not the stained with sweat look.

Not that I walk around in skimpy attire all day, which I don't, but it's not an aesthetic choice I will avoid at all costs. I actually like it a lot. But, it is something that I suffered through because I decided to master being a leatherworker, and a totally unfair RNG in dungeons left me with nothing but just bondage gear recolors for like 15 or 20 levels. It totally made me conscientious to the point that just hearing the chocobo whistles would make me try to cover up IRL. Seriously, mages have way less skimpy options for 2.0 and it's only for like five levels too.

It's not in the game, if I glamor a skirt for my legs, my panties are white. If I glamor a colored swimsuit bottom, I cannot have a skirt.

It's even worse for dark-skinned characters like mine. The white smallclothes glow with the fury of a hundred suns! I tend to prefer longer skirts or pants for that reason. It'd be nice to change their color to something more... subdued.

It would be kind of fun to be able to colour match what you're wearing IRL lol.

I would just like them to add the racial variations of the hempen undergarments.

What I am suggesting, and for those of us where, wearing lots of armor, robes etc feel like a burden. So wearing less is a plus. When the Emperor's new clothes glamours came out I thought that was great. But our small clothes have always been rather plain looking. Maybe thats the point but I would like to see some options to change those. The idea of bringing back the 1.0 small clothes i think is cool. Does anyone who played 1.0 have any screenshots of those. From what I read the characters in 1.0 actually had a small clothes slot so you could wear different ones. For maybe 4.0 that would be nice. Or so SE could make more off selling fantasia they could over maybe 1-3 options of different styles of small clothes that we can choose from in character creator. Over time add new ones that we could use fantasia to switch too. Just ideas. Oh and also SE could even have a contest for players to create their own ideas with the top 3 being used in game.

I had a thread that was pretty much ignored that I think might catch some approval here. There are so many ways we can go with glamours but anytime you change to a new one you loose what you had and it can be a real hassle if we want to go back to one we liked. I am thinking to be able to save each 'Outfit" we create through glamouring we could save maybe e 3-3-5 of them in a way we can easily switch back to the same armor or new armor. I know this will cut down on gill crafters make off the prisms but not fully and it might make them a bit more reasonable then they are now.

Changing your small clothes might make it seem like Scarlet Blade >.>.

I doubt that, that was completely different. It would just be an one of 3 options in the character creator where the look of the small clothes would change. For fun I tried out Scarlet Blade and this idea is very different, in fact not even comparable at all. I have read that FFXIV 1.0 did have a slot for changing different small clothes. Also other games such at Black Desert has a default 'small clothes' option with another one of adding to the 'underwear' slot which increases your luck RNG. But thats not my idea is even about. I would just give some extra options when creating a new character or using fantasia to have different better looking small clothes. They wouldn't be part of any gear at all just a cosmetic change to what normally is in any MMO for what the base underwear (small clothes) looks like.

Yeah I would like to see thing changed too. This game has a really weird taste on underwear style and swimsuit style. All of them feel too BDSM inspired. I would like to see something more "normal". Also white colored underwear is a crime against humanity.

Look for the Hempen Camise, and the leg variant, those were the smallclothes in 1.0 iirc.

I have those with glamours of course. And they could be one of maybe 3 choices for each race in the character creator. As was mentioned plain white small clothes or underwear just don't cut it. There is no reason outside of making it so players are more or less encouraged to 'gear up' soon. But now that we have an actual glamour to display the full small clothes option I would think it'd be time to make some much nicer looking ones. And not to mention with bare feet as well. There aren't any swimsuits that don't come with some kind of shoe or sandals. Some of us I bet would love to run around with bare feet. :cool:

Yes the ideas for what everyone had for 1.0 I would love to see brought back. The extra small clothes slot could be a good idea over character creation. SE could easily create different kind for that for crafters through i would like to see the recipes for them not using rare and hard to get items. Make them say crafters between 10-50, with better quality ones make between level 50-60 (With the exception of the current small clothes we can craft). As I mentioned earlier in this post SE, since this would be a new thing, have a contest for their designs as well. I will be going to the FFXIV fan event in Las Vegas I hope that I might have a chance to bring it up.
