WHM Stat allocation and Anima Wep Prio Discussion- END GAME 3.3

Topic says it all. If anyone has any insight on these questions or can link me other posts on it, Id be highly obliged.

Concerning ACC:

1. Is ACC 100% necessary for endgame WHM for A6+ and beyond? Should WHM's be hitting A8 hardcap?
2. How much ACC is needed?
3. If it is, then are the quint melded accessories still BiS for WHM for ACC materia?
4. If it is, then is best stat prio for anima wep PIE/ACC?

If ACC isn't necessary:

1. Is it true PIE/SS are best secondary stats in 3.3 due to regen tick?
2. If it is, then is best stat prio for anima wep PIE/SS?
3. Is there a formula how SS correlates to regen ticks?
4. Is there a cap to SS where we should then go towards another stat?
5. If SS isnt the best secondary stat, is it CRT or DET?
6. If it is, then is best stat prio for anima wep PIE/DET or PIE/CRT?
7. Are there formulas and caps for CRT or DET, depending on the better?
8. What is currently BiS?

Im currently allocating points into my anima wep and I have no clue on what the stat prio is or what materia melds I should do in my 240 gear. To my knowledge there is not a lot of information out on this right now. Some A7+ WMH's that I've seen go ACC, some don't. I'm just really worried I'm going to mess up my brutally grinded anima weapon or misplace expensive melds! Sorry about the long post but any help is appreciated.

Bonus:
1. With best secondary stats in mind, what is BiS WHM food?
2. What is BiS WHM potion consumable?

Now this is a can of worms since whm doesn't have a definitive bis.

Accuracy wise, you can get 600 accuracy (100% hit rate) with food (urchin loaf +40 acc) and melded gear. You don't need accuracy on weapon at all, if you want to blow up some money you can also make pentamelded accessories so you can use spiced cider for more piety. If you want to save money just stat your weapon for acc.
Though max accuracy isn't exactly needed since WHM isn't expected to dps on endgame, so if you miss a few stones nobody will kill you for that, you'll still have a pretty decent hit rate with just accuracy Vs across your body gear. Melding some vit Vs also make your life easier on the last phase of A8S.

Other stats, DET is crap 120 det won't affect your healing or dps on any relevant matter. Crit is by far the best on every class right now though its always a risk due rng. Spell speed is kind of meh, 120 ss isn't enough to impact hots that much, some theorized that 800+ ss makes aero I hit as hard as stone III but there isn't much more than theory on that. 120 piety gives you ~+3k mp per 10mins of fighting since pie increases your regen rate and assize returns.

Personally the best is pie/crit then you work your way with accuracy with melds on your gear, this setup gives you enough accuracy to dps without negative returns, except for your wallet ofc since getting melded accessories might be pretty expensive, loaves aren't cheap either.

Our WHM went 60 Accuracy, 60 Spell Speed, 120 piety. She's very happy with it. From my standpoint it's smart. Max piety for the MP burden from the extra dps and its more efficient to have piety on your wep than to meld it. Spell Speed to increase heals and DPS.

Our WHM looks for every opportunity to contribute DPS. She says it used to make her really sad when she tried and missed. With her melds, it isn't an issue anymore. :)

Having accuracy in any healer is amazing, even if you don't dela much damage the accuracy will make sure the few hits you always throw never miss making those hits much more worthy. So I'm gonna reply the first half of your questions.

1. If youw want to cap accuracy while being ilv240 (not using i220 HQ with pentamelds). Yes, 120 accuracy on relic is pretty much a must. There are lots of moments to stance dance on all fights of Midas Savage so don't worry making that a waste. Penta-melding negative results are the lost of potencial Mind status you could have with higher item level gear.
2. Something close to 600 for A8S. Its a bit lower but I don't remember the exact number. You'll have to complete the cap witha few accuracy melds and food.
3. Pentamelded acessories "bis" have a lower mind cap then if you're full i240 with 120 accuracy on your anima.
4. The second stat you prioritize is all up to you. All of them are worth just find one who fits your playstyle better.

As for the second part of questions I'll do a bland info throw for you. Spellspeed boosts your regens but so does Determination so keep that in mind. If you don't feel the casting speed being much of a difference go Det instead since it boosts all your healing. While PIE is good for progression once you get used to the fight you'll be using your MP more effectively making those points of PIE forgettable. Crit is nice if you like gambling, critting heals on WHM is really powerfull but you shouldn't rely in it. Its not a bad status to have tho. Stats weight for healers doesn't work very well since you're never 100% uptime healing or dpsing.
As for potions, always carry Mind potions and Max-Ethers HQ! Hope this could be of any help.

To hit 582 accuracy, which is good for most content and a marron glaze/pipira away from a8s cap, you need 120 Accuracy on relic and 9 Accuracy Vs (out of 16 available slots.) With 60 Accuracy you need 14 Slots filled with Accuracy Vs.

I'm the same as main healer with ACC/PIE/SS being the anima priority. I've never been a fan of Crit on WHM/D.AST roles. Most of the time an overheal isn't good, you just don't depend it, plus healing is scripted so you know what % of damage you are supposed to heal. Sure it's good for damage but that is only one part of the equation. I feel the upside is more with SS because of your HoTs and the ability to squeeze more DPS. DET stat weight hasn't been great since the HW nerf, so the value there is nimble compared to Crit and SS.

I sometimes pop mind pots on pulls and would get annoyed to see even an Aero III or the following Stone III miss. I'm practically on cap with melds and good food now and with zero misses in A5S/A6S. Every opportunity to even hit once or a few times in-between mechanics matters, you'll find how much it is worth it when they actually hit that you'll never want to go back to missing again.

I would definitely stat ACC on healer animas even main healers, because the weapon is only going to grow stronger until the end of expansion. Who knows what the caps will be for the next tier of gear, then already having ACC on your weapon could be valuable and allow us to optimize materia on our gear depending what the cap of the last tier of Alex brings us.

You can get real close to the accuracy cap for A8S/M4S without melding accuracy on your weapon. It may be worth considering capping accuracy on your weapon after all, however. If you'd keep an eye on future content. and if accuracy cap raises, it's easier to replace materia on your armor and/or accessories for accuracy. Rather than reallocating stats on your relic.

One pro to allocating accuracy on your weapon is that when it eventually scales up to 250, 260, 270, a current acc+60 would scale up to acc+63, acc+66, acc+69, respectively*. a current acc+120 would scale up to acc+126, acc+132, acc+138.

*based on current acc/iLv trends.

Yes you can, but it is inflexible. Progression on A8s still requires Vitality melds to reach around 19k HP, which takes up your entire right side slots. To reach hitcap with these melds figured in, you need to either a) have two pentamelded accessories (which locks you into two 220 items and costs a shitton of gil) or b) put full Accuracy on your relic, freeing up your melds. The relic is clearly the better and more flexible choice here, and it's more future-proof to boot.

I capped piety and am going rest into accuracy (114 I think?). MP is still the biggest dps hurdle when I'm main healing and trying to dps as much as possible, even at 14500ish mp pool.

edit: as far as crit v. det goes, crit is pretty meh on whm for a number of reasons:

• Our only shield is a flat percentage and gains no value from crit
• You can't rely on crit to boost your straight heals (cure I-III, medica I), you have to plan your healing based off a non crit potency.
• As a whm you are typically going to be the main healer, which usually means less active dps, the one place where crit really shines on whm.
