Howdy howdy howdy, Blue castle back with another idea.
So we have:
Entry 12.99 1 character per world, 8 max
then we have:
Standard 14.99 8 characters per world, 40 max
Can we get a new option to allow the merging of retainers into the payment?
Premium 19.99 10 characters per world, 50 max
and you get 2 additional retainers
I only ask this because i hate having to go through payment options every
month to add 2 retainers over and over again... it's tiring.

You shouldn't have to add the retainers over and over? Though IDK. I use the entry sub and have 2 retainers and it's all automatic for me..

Err, yeah. Why are you having to renew it every month? My extra retainers have always been on a recurring subscription and I don't even remember there being an option for one-time payments.

Yes if you use crysta or a game time card they do not include extra retainers. If you sub via automatic withdrawal then you don't have to select them each month.

I paid for both my sub and 1 extra retainer with crysta for a while, and it was automatic renewal for both the subscription and the retainer. The only time I had to reactivate that extra retainer was when my crysta ran out and my sub didn't renew automatically. It might be the same case with game time cards. Is your payment method the same for both the sub and retainer fees?
More characters per world would probably be fun for some people but I think allowing alts to befriend each other would help more people. They could send mail to each other and share a house. -

What about a "SE online account" bundled subscription that gives you standard access to FFXIV + FFXI, at a marginal discount.
There's significant crossover between XI and XIV players, and with a single subscription it would help people keep their accounts and alleviate the faffing around involved with PlayOnline. I think the Everquest people do something similar; one sub lets you play the ~5 or so MMOs under their umbrella. -

i'd wish to ask for membership renewals that go up to at least 1 year terms the highest we have is what? 6 months? maybe with a 1 year payment we could get special deals for doing so or something like that

I pay for a extra retainer and it always included in my bill amount when it renews and don't have to do anything extra but the again I use a CC.

He must be using time cards or something.... I bought an Amazon Timecard for the promotion and when the time I got from them kicked in... my retainers didn't auto renew, it frightened me XD
Im guessing depending on your payment choices it doesn't automatically cycle with your sub. -

possibly like an option for fewer limit characters per world but with more retainers for the less character needy players
ex) 16.99-20.99 @ 3 chars per world w/ 8 retainers
higher than standard but lower than having to pay for full 8 retainers.
(sorry dunno how much it costs for 8char/8retainers since i got legacy price but you get the idea >_>) -
