Cristal Tower access

Hi there !

One of my little potatoes (my guildmates :p) can't get access to CT and I was wondering why considering he ended the main story quest (the 2.0 one, now working on the patches's ones, but we did Castrum and Prae).
He says he can't see the weird guy near the aetherit, is it normal ?

Crystal Tower quest starts at Sons camp in Eastern Mor China, iirc.

To start unlocking the Crystal Tower raids, speak with the Outlandish Man, located at 21,8 in Mor Dhona. The quest: Legacy of Allag will be the start of the chain, involving some FATEs, that will open the Labyrinth of the Ancients. Syrcus Tower and the World of Darkness will be cake-walks after clearing Labyrinth of the Ancients.

The thing is, he can't see that man :/ , even if he did the previous needed quests (Castrum and Prae and the end of 2.0)

Could he have possibly grabbed the quest since its just talking to him once, then you get sent to rammbroes in st coinachs find.

Did they complete the quest "A Performance For the Ages"? Did they speak with Rammbroes (the mauve-ish colored Roegadyn)? There are actually quite a few quest requirements to be able to unlock Crystal Tower.

Nop, considering he can't even take Legacy of Allag to unlock the quests to unlock CT :/

Maybe, i'll ask him when i see him, maybe he already has it but don't remeber yes :/

ok it says it requires completing The ultimate weapon, you did say he cleared praetorum right? did he complete the entire quest(gotta go back to the waking sands i believe) and watch the long cutscenes and credits from 2.0 msq? does he have his magitek mount?

Yep, he's acually doing the quests to unlock Ishgard (did the icy dungeon yesterday, french name's Manteneige, don't know the english one)
