Joking aside there will be more to the patch than just those things, and if you want to be mad at someone why not mention at all the person/persons who selected those questions to be asked?

But he had housing questions and raid roulette questions answered, just not answered how you'd like them to be answered. As for mid tier weapon drops, I figure that's what the Deep Dungeon weapons are for?

To be fair Balmung was continually mentioned in the live letter :P

I mean it is one of the highest populated English servers if not thee highest so I guess Highest Population = Voice of all English Fans and who SE will go to for most of their feedback it seems.

While Europe seems so casually forgotten most of the time :/

True there will always people who miss even the most obvious satire (weeps in agony over people on Facebook taking Onion news seriously) but there's still a framework that makes it lean into the territory of "there's no way this is serious" which is about as best as you can get on the internet.

By being from Balmung, you have an immediate line to the design staff of Square Enix. Simply create a thread that you want more glowing effects, and it will be answered in the next live letter. Please look forward to it.

I missed the live letter so I might not be getting it but what does this have to do with Balmung?! Theres a lot of RPer on other servers.

It's just a joke. Some of the answered questions from the live letter were around RP topics. Balmung is known as the unofficial, but official, RP server for NA, so I called them out for being the cause.

As a rep of balmung, I beseech the devs to let me have a 100% echo boost on all content

Could someone from Balmung please ask the developers to add Viera (the FFXII version) in the next expansion. I want to ask myself, but I play on a EU server, so we do not exist to Square Enix.

I highly doubt this is true, but, "OH GOD" if it is.

Balmung has decently nice people, horrible horrible horrible housing markets (way too many players for housing to function properly), RP which doesn't really need that much support IMO, and mostly terrible PvErs.
I mean, when FF14 Parses have me resting about the 50-60% of all MCH, yet I can pull rank 7-10 of all MCH on the server, it's pretty indicative that the raid scene isn't that great. And for what's probably the most populous server, that's pretty embarrassing.

But yeah, I imagine they read over questions that people actually want answered, but don't choose them, not Balmungs fault.
Also, new sleep poses and an RP icon seem nice.

To see this much disdain for the RPing community makes my heart hurt.

Just to let you know, OP. My linkshells were LOLing quite a bit over how upset people such as you were getting at us Balmungers. :P

Fun aside, they answered stuff like RP status tags and a stage because those are easy features to add. Both could likely be done with minimal effort, thus they can provide a definitive answer. A Raid Roulette is a massive undertaking that requires ample testing, which could take months to work as intended. They also likely want to see how the current Raid Finder is working. If few people use it, then it gives them less incentive to make a roulette. Frankly, I don't even see the point to a Raid Roulette. How many people will actually want to do Savage daily?

Housing was answered. They plan to implement apartments in Ishgard. You may not like that direction, but that isn't Balmung's fault.

As for mid-tier weapons

New dungeons: ilvl: 215
Sephirot EX: ilvl220
Nidhogg EX: ilvl235
Deep Dungeon: ilvl235 (possibly gear too)
Anima: ilvl240

Lol I remember my bf reading off the questions asked before they did the LL, he read the stage one, RP icon stuff, he had some pretty funny uh..choice words for the questions...lmao when they were actually asked..oh man...
