People hate Copperbell Mines?

Today happened

I took Duty roulette:leveling

Found all players and in Copperbell Mines. Tank and one dps fast leaved.
I leaved it too. Since search new tank take longer...Boring waiting.

Then I re-join it. Got again Copperbell Mines. One healer leaved. I again leaved....

seriously....What wrong with Copperbell Mines?

Too hard for some
like the one boss that you have to turn into many little pieces with a bomb? A mechanic that can't be skipped or ignored.

It's boring and sometimes very long if someone keeps goofing around during slime boss.
But I'd still take Copperbell over Toto-Rak any day of the week.

In other words: the reward isn't worth the possible time investment for most people.

Because people don't want 7 digit sums of experience doing faceroll content as their roulette.

I hate CM HM because that was the ONE RELIC ITEM that would not drop for me....
so I did it like 100 times. I won't leave if it pops up but I'll feel dead inside for sure.

Think only thing that annoys me in Copperbell Mine is the low level, and thus most of the abilities are deactivated.. but when I queue to something, I also plan to complete it.

Can't always get your fav. dungeon from duty roulette.

I love the second boss in Copperbell. I actually wish there was more fights like it. Less about twitch play and one shot attacks and more about mechanics.

I dunno, Copperbell is great. It's different from the first two dungeons in that you're level 20, meaning a lot of jobs have just picked up some key traits (for instance, THM/BLM gets their level 2 Astral/Umbral here)

They actually upped the HP of that bomb, I think. It's way harder to just mistakenly kill it now, it seems.

I dislike the mines. Both story mode and HM. it's not aesthetically pleasing.
Come to think of it, I'm not a fan of any dungeon where the majority of it is underground.

Tl;Dr I don't like creepy mines

I really like the slime boss. Having a boss you can't attack directly is a nice change of pace once in awhile.

Yeah, even AV.
I don't mind AV actually except for that atrocious first room... but the whole of Toto-Rak drives me nuts.

If people would actual play the game instead of playing "who's the biggest asshole?" the dungeon would be quick and enjoyable. That particular mechanic is easy, the fight should take no mor than 2-3 minutes if that. Good players play the game, what does that make those who won't run a dungeon, or play an unskippable mechanic?

AV is enioyable because you can't over gear it like the others forcing you to actually play.

Then they should be doing expert roulette, or some other content instead.

It is mind numbingly boring. All the enemies hit about as hard as a wet paper bag, two of the bosses are basically trash mobs and the last you simply zerg even in leveling gear.

They *should* be, but since you don't really get punished that heavily for bailing on a dungeon you don't like, people are still gonna do it.

But hey, it's not like this debate hasn't ever shown up on the forums anywhere else.

I don't think it's hard. But it's very very boring.

I despise every dungeon before Haukke because they are the only ones that damn roulette thinks exist.

I agree. Would like to see more bosses like this.

Do people have trouble with the slime boss...? I've never seen anyone fail at it... and, given that it's one of the 3 dungeons that the leveling roulette ever gives you, I've done it a bunch...

Well, once or twice I've seen a silly DPS or Tank stand directly in the Bomb's AOE and get blasted, but that's not a boss-specific mechanic.

I never really had a problem with AV. Except before AST got a buff. Other than that, it was a fun dungeon to me. Actually before the buff, I still enjoyed it.

Lower dungeons on a level 60 make me sleepy, especially Copperbell Mines for some reason.

Copperbell is fine, and most runs I've seen have gone smoothly.

I still stand by the opinion that if you're queuing for Duty Roulette: Leveling, you should follow through even if it's not your favorite dungeon.
