The moment I saw a gloved hand, I lost it.

I was not pretty. I did the cliché have over your mouth with an audible gasp and started tearing up.

And then when I saw the armored hand, I broke down.

Lol, during that scene when I saw my headgear was off... I was like, "Oh great. Here it comes. I know I'm going to cry now."

I lost my sh*t when I watched that scene; the feels was way above 9000. T^T Well done SE!

I did not cry but my heart felt like it was falling into pieces.

They once again save us one last time in death.

Oh the part where we Gaogaigar the eyes? I loved that part. It made it feel epic.

I'm pleased that our character had the good grace to respond with the correct expression, because if it accurately depicted how most players seem to have reacted, it'd have not been nearly so elegant.

To be fair I personally wouldn't even go to that point I would've just

stabbed Estinien like he asked us to

Since this thread is referring to this particular cutscene, was I the only one who thought that Alphinaud and the WoL were being super genre-blind in

throwing the eyes over the bridge and thinking that was the end of it?

Was not surprised at all at the developments that followed.

I liked when he called me the "Azure Dragoon" when I hadn't completed the level 60 DRG quest :O, "Estinien, did you need a moment? You seem to be confused..."

Nah lol. Cuz if you remember when Einstein first showed up in the story, he calls you another Azure Dragoon after you defeated him in the Lv50 Job quest.

Ah, been a while lol.

I had mixed feelings about the ending, on the one hand the "we are always with you.." thing that our lost friends pulled made me cry in a good way.. but on the other i feel for my warrior of light.. x.x i can't imagine how it must feel to lose as much as she has and keep going the way she does.. kind of want to see her fallow Estiniens example someday and retire.

Which brings me to.. <3 it is so nice to finally see him without that burden on his shoulders, he was so peaceful at the end that it was like meeting an entirely different person~

Yeah me and a few FC members did it at the same time and we had a collective facepalm moment at the LotR moment.

The eyes did not even have their glow anymore, so it was probably unnessecary. Could have just destroyed the eyes with some other method, instead of tossing them into an area where anyone with an airship or ability to teleport can go looking for them.

so honestly the rest of that cutscene i was laughing really hard.......

Then they ruined it by doing something stupid like

throwing the eyes over the bridge, come on writers, almost as bad as when multiple characters were spying on eachother from afar

it was such a good time
and as stupid as throwing the eyes over the edge was, i was distracted by the fact that my character was actually doing SOMETHING other than gape

Me when I saw that the "best" solution Aymeric, WoL and Alphinuts could think of was throwing the eyes off the bridge:

I teared up too when I saw the hand.. And then they throw the eyes >.>

I did not tear up but I did gasp audibly when our second friend appeared. Such a great moment.

When Ysayle & Haurchefant's hands touched ours, I felt a lump in my throat and a heavy heart. It was such an awesome and unexpected scene. I just wished they could've thrown in Moenbryda in the scene somehow even though she wasn't involved in Heavensward. Out of the 3 of our friends that perished, she's the one I miss the most.

I'm hoping out hope that she'll get a similar appearance in some future developments concerning the Ascians. On the other hand, most of my friends who play this game likely don't even remember her name, so...

As soon as I saw Ysayle's gloves, I know it was her. I didn't expect old Haruchy to show up though!

Dude, I shipped Estinien and Ysale from the beginning! But I thought, they're never gonna make that canon. They're too different within the storyline. And then she died and I was convinced that was the nail in the coffin. But in the final MSQ CS you see Estinien walking out of town with a bouquet and in the nostalgia questline you find the bouquet in Azys Lla where Ysale died. Whoa, was not expecting that. If anything I was expecting them to go to Hauchefant. Cheers, SE.

The moment is pretty great, but I bet if you're in panic mode you will throw those eyes down the bridge too, cuz you know, panic mode.

I hate that cutscene, since it means poor Ysayle is truly gone :(
