Hey there! So... I was reading the Aquapolis Preview (here), and I noticed something interesting while reading it.
If I may make a proposal, could you have the dragonskin treasure map instead have a chance to drop a Master Thief's Map (at the same rate as a portal would appear, mind you) instead of spawning a portal? I feel people who do dragonskin maps may or may not be prepared to dive into the Aquapolis with the party they are currently in, and may want to save their Aquapolis opportunity for later.Quote:

That's not a bad idea. Something akin to the Unhidden treasure maps that can drop. I'm all for it.

While it's a neat suggestion, I do have a few questions about it:
- Who will get the Master Thief map?
I assume the player who had the Dragonskin map will get it.
- Will they be similar to the Unhidden maps, in the sense that they're not unique, and can be stacked up?
- Like the Unhidden maps, will it be possible to sell these on the marketboard?
I think they shouldn't be. It'd create a scenario where the Dragonskin map owner would just keep the Master Thief map to sell for x gil, instead of actually doing the content. -

Based on "Players with the master thief's map in their possession will be able to summon a teleportation ward by using the general action Dig near the area indicated on the map," I would guess that the master thief map is a key item deciphered map, and that you will be unable to do any more maps until you have finished it.

I mean: You have to search for 4-8 people to do dragonskin-map(s) AND that Extra Dungeon, if youre lucky!

And also: Dungeon may end AT ONCE if you picked the wrong door!(LOL At that)
If you want to reach the final level of that Dungeon you have to open all 6 correct Doors!
You always get 1 Key, to open 1 of 2 Doors. If you picked the wrong Door -> "Party leaves Dungeon" (<-same goes for if Party is wiped!)
So 6x 50% chance to reach the final floor o_O -
