Drop rate isn't the issue, it's how loot is distributed.
I don't understand how people have such horrid luck. I get a drop 1/3 runs... I've had multiple doubles now and I'm just missing the blade
You're shitting me? We got like 30 kills in the last few days and 90% of the time the chest has dark matter.

Well the drop rate sux and the distribution sux imo..lol.
I can live with the drop rate though, that just makes the items more desirable.
I can't even begin to describe how annoying it is to watch an item drop to the floor, because the one guy in out pt who actually got one, has another drop to him again.
We did 13 wins so far, lance dropped 2 times and the two times it dropped, it dropped to the same guy..
Honesty implementing a system that works like this just makes no sense.
It's like SE said "Hey, let's see how crazy we can make them, as they watch items that barely ever drop, hit the ground"

It's a frustrating mechanic for sure. I've had horrid luck with this so far. 2 weapons after 48 kills, including my current streak of 24 dark matters in a row (and counting). What makes it worse is the rest of my shell is made up of members who are 5/7, 6/7 & 7/7 who keep getting multiples (some up to 4 of the same weapon) so I'm seeing these hit the ground after every fight while I'm still sitting @0.
As others have said, I can definitely live with the low drop rate. But allow us to pass the items to who needs them at least. At the very least, when someone gets a double just have it pop in their loot list instead of hitting the floor...
LS member was 0/12 and then finally got their first item on 13th attempt. Sad thing is they have every battle class leveled to 50 so they can technically use anything haha.
I think this is just some artificial way of extending how long the content lasts so people keep playing until the next patch rolls around. FFXI was like this, just to a more extreme degree with the 24 hour or longer spawn timers and all the items you had to gather for sky/sea farming. The beastmen strongholds are pretty much the same way. Keys seem few and far between (especially on the main bosses) and you hardly get the item you're looking for.
One of the members in my LS has gotten 4 THM weapons now. :/
