What's the consensus on flying with just our character bodies?
Mainly wondering because I was gliding for around a minute(lalafells sprawl out on ADS nodes) on my lalafell because I was lagging so he pretty much looked like he was flying without a mount :o
Could make up some like lore we utilise crystals or aether to fly, I mean we knock down dragons with fists and shoot laser beams by attuning to Bahamut's energy.
No mount flying?

It looks (even more) silly and then it leads to the question on why we can't fly in instances or fight while flying. Not to mention it'd also have to be a ground mount, which looks just as silly and still leads to the question to why we can't fight while running/flying that fast on the ground.

what's wrong with flying with mounts????? There is no reason for me to fly without a mount; unless we're going for that Crazy Crystal Power again...and nothing good seems to come of that so no thanks. -

Naturally peoples response to this before in similar threads has been "Well you don't have to do it then.", which then I naturally just :rolleyes:, I still would have to look at the legions of people in their metallic blue wedding dresses with the inevitable inclusion of fairy/butterfly wings after "floating" loses its appeal.
