No, this isn't a place for all the "pld/drk should do more dps, and be better tanks, and/or drain more health, and/or be better at whatever other niche. those are all POPULAR opinions about warrior. You could close your eyes and click on one on this page.
A good example would be-heavens forbid- addressing what few extremely glaring flaws the class *does* have. One would be their aoe dps-tp ratio that many pretend doesn't exist when ranting about war has no right to equilibrium.
Perhaps a better one would be how fracture is arguably the worst gcd in the game, and the only reason it hasn't been buffed yet is because Wars kit as a whole is so cohesive.
If you're feeling particularly aggressive you could bring up how the whole stance dance ogcd makes perfect sense when you consider how WARs stance actually works and the fact that they have to burn a gcd and a full 5 stacks just to get the DR the other two tanks enjoy just by swapping stance casually- and they need a melee range target to do it.
Feel free to address these or whatever other Unpopular WAR opinions you have! Just remember what tends to actually constitute unpopular vs popular 'round these parts when talking about WAR. we don't need a millionth topic about how BB needs to be nerfed or DRK should be given a super version of path. ^_~

Fracture can't be the worst GCD as long as Haymaker exists. ;D At least Fracture is a DPS gain if you use it right and (I believe?) still has some use for MNK. It could use a potency buff to make it more appealing, though that would require other nerfs that I don't think WARs who don't want to use Fracture would be particularly happy about.
TP drain is generally non-existent even in AOE situations, DRG/MNK/NIN/BRD/etc all have to deal with the same limitations. Equilibrium and Decimate (as well as FC after the AOE's over) really go a long way to making OP spam entirely viable without any real consequence. I mean, Equal is on such a short CD that we can feasibly sprint in combat without any real downsides.
I'm not a huge fan of how Deliverance -> Defiance doesn't swap FC -> IB and Decimate -> SC, but having a macro or a gaming mouse is a decent enough workaround for that problem.
Other than that... idk. I feel like WAR is really tightly built, it's hard to find a problem with anything in the kit. -

It has decisions on cross class skills, actions that synergize extremely well, and a very unique playstyle. Pretty much every weakness this class has compared to the other tanks is offset by a sufficient strength. -

Fell Cleave's animation is stupid.
There should be a proc that makes Overpower stronger than Fell Cleave because Overpower is the best animation warrior has.
Overpower would be be better if it had the wind up the Npc's that use it have.
The storyline wasn't really that good.
Fracture and any other animation where the warrior hits the target with the top of the handle looks goofy. -

It would look awkward for the damage to go out at the start and then a second later the animation goes out, so they just sped up the animation as well.Quote:
