Lightning event 1-handed weapons

Is it me or is there no way to upgrade them to a 2-handed version? They even seem to be selling the 1-handed version on the Mogstation. If so, that is quite disappointing.

That was about the primal weapons though, not the Lightning event.

Given that they've said they don't have plans to bring out Lightning weapons for the jobs released after the event (Ninja, Dark Knight, Machinist, Astrologian), it seems unlikely they'll want to spend time to make a 2 handed version of the existing weapons. Sorry.

That's pretty dumb though. I can understand not doing them for new jobs but right now it's as if WHM and BLM don't have one either.

Can't find the actual quote, but there is no DRK, MCH, or AST versions of the Lightning Event weapons because they didn't exists when the event happened.

So 1 handed PLD weapon, if you upgrade to a 2 handed weapon it becomes a DRK weapon? And PLD was a job you could pick at start of game, while DRK you could only get later on...

Cause like if a 1 handed blackmage weapon can be upgraded to a 2 handed weapon that would be for a advanced job too?!?!.... Red mage confirmed? :P

That train of though jumped the tracks a couple times o-o

A side note: They did mention that both Red Mage and Samurai may be coming up next.

Only primal weapons (but not the crafted versions) are tradeable to 2-hand weapons for now.
