Please allow queuing into Diadem via DF

( well see title for dev request)

The DF could just deny queuing unless we have the vouchers in our inventory. It already does things like this, like denying queuing based on level/class/unlock status etc. It would be just another check.

You need an airship to get there.

But I find it better if we can queue to Diadem also from the other airports, not only from the Ishgard airport or the FC airship garage.

Nope you have to que for it at the airship landing in Ishguard or your FC airship.

It requires a voucher to queue for it, unlike the rest of DF.

We needed an airship to get to Praetorium, the Howling Eye, and probably some other places I'm not remembering too, so what's your point?

They eventually realized needing to bring a full party to Coerthas Central or East Thanalan was a pain for the chimera/hydra fights, so ideally they would realize the same thing for Diadem and make it freely queueable. Hardly the biggest problem that plagues Diadem right now, but you know, baby steps...

but for new players and for future content.............the game is only going to get bigger............and going this place to that place over the years will be very confusing to many new players.

This change will is more a QoL and better long term.

Or represents an opportunity for the team to use it's content to introduce players to the world and places gradually and naturally.

Oh, please. It's still DF, just DF you can only queue into from one place. That doesn't add immersion, just annoyance.

You have to give an NPC your flight gasoline. It is not in the DF menu.

This is so nitpicky. Diadem is complete garbage in the duty finder to begin with unless you just want to gather on botanist/fisher, why you would want that expanded is beyond me.

No matter how many new jobs I get, I still have to use my car to get to work every day.
MMOs are supposed to have an interactive world. It's no fun just being a big empty lobby.

I couldn't care less. If I can't Need on gear I'm not going to waste my time.

New players will have trouble finding Ishgard?

It will confuse them that they have to go somewhere?

Tbh, it would be nice to have to go to more new content to enter it. You might even meet people on your server and team up with them. It's a novel idea.

It's basically a duty finder you're using. You just have to go to the airship to initiate it.
It's not that big of a deal to go to Ishgard and queue the duty. You can leave and do whatever you want from there on and it acts like Duty Finder.
I would rather have the devs working on something that's actually important.

Only thing not having it available in The DF is doing is keeping out cross server team ups.

Which I have no opinion about because the way Diadem is set up anyway guarantees it will be a colossal cluster {Kupo} at some point anyway. Letting other servers in on the trolling and toxicity really wouldn't change much.

And for the record, I called it as soon as Diadem was implemented that MPKers were going to start trolling in Diadem, by week 2 I was already seeing it.
