You just need that ONE drop from trial/raid/dungeon/etc

Anyone having those moments where you farm that one trial/dungeon/raid, and nothing is dropping for you?

That's me in VA right now. Been at this all week and I have yet to see a BRD/MCH drop in any of the chests. I have no clue if I'm going to get my drop before reset tomorrow. :c

That is the last piece to complete the gear set. They've never even dropped when I go as BRD. I only see them when I go as BLM, and I never win the drop.

That was FCoB for me. By the time my group got to T13, I had only gotten 1 accessory from the place. Then when we got T13 down, our first 6 weapons were 4 dragoon spears, a summoner book, and ninja daggers. My group had a dragoon but no ninja or summoner so 6 weeks of clearing and only one person had a weapon for his main.

I ran Expert every day as healer after Patch 3.1's dungeons dropped. It took me until a week or two ago to finally get the healer coat.

STILL have only seen the Bard coat drop ONCE and my friend and I fought for it (I rolled a 2 :') )

Over 100 runs in t10 for caster ring, probs close to 200...no drop
Over 100 runs in t11 for caster body.....no drop

Fuck coil. Never continued after that.

But yeah not getting that one thing you need is annoying (looking at you T11 SCH legs during progression).

I farmed a lot Shiva Ex for the BLM Weapon at the end of 2.X. I have right now a shitload of Diamond Tear, but I never got the weapon...

The Plague Bringer pants are the last piece I'm missing from the caster set and I've been running expert since patch day.

Managed to get the full BRD set before the caster set.

do 20-30 runs of moggle hard to get the blm staff, zero drop, change to ast and it drop but cant get it T_T

I have the minion PLUS the entire glamour set, EXCEPT THE DAMN SHOES. ;-; I've seen them drop ONCE in my Idek how many runs, and I misclicked and rolled greed on them. Other healer rolled need. Many tears were shed that day.

It's funny because I had to buy w/ manifestos every single caster piece in A2S. But in A1S, my group seems to get NOTHING but caster gear. The running joke being that everyone is now unofficially a BLM secondary because of it. Point being, RNG is RNG and in the end, it eventually evens out.

Battlemage vest from brayflox normal. I do a few unsynced runs a day and have leveled everything through there. A year and a half later I have all the Sets but that damned chest piece.

it took my a whole month farming garuda ex for the ilvl 90 healer ring, back in 2.1 c.c

i got the nickname "Karuda Extreme" because i did the fight that often, everyday... >.>

Yup, still trying to get Ring of the Daring Duelist, only seen it drop twice so far and didn't win neither the roll. Seen a lot of everything else though

I ran that and world of darkness for light on artemis bow which made it not so bad and eventually I did get every weapon after like 200 runs. My pony dropped my first run though...

I still haven't gotten the bow from binding coil though.

35+ unsynched runs of Halatali on my 57 AST trying to get the doctore's hora for my pugilist glamor...

I wanted it because it was the smallest and not a bright white...



And now I'm using the emperor's new fists... DX

Every damn 24 man raids i have had to run 50+ times for a single piece of gear. First started with Crystal Tower and really has not changed.

Same, but with the caster coat. I didn't get the chance to log on every day through the holidays but I ran it nearly every evening I was logged on, half that time I was spamming it even. I just got the coat maybe a week ago after it dropped twice in a row. First time I ever saw it drop I got so overexcited to finally get it that I left the dungeon before everyone had lotted and lost it. :/

Also finally got the caster boots from wod back around Christmas, first time I remember ever seeing those drop.

For me it was the demon gloves of aiming from dark void. Still never got them.

Still waiting on the 185 tank coat. :/ I've run EX even when I'm capped trying to get that dang thing. I ended up buying the sky pirate coat bc I got impatient.

I've run about 50 unsynced Brayflox runs trying to get that effing Opo Opo minion for my girlfriend and the dang thing WILL NOT DROP.

Demon Sabatons of Fending. RNGsus only knows how many runs on PLD and they never drop, but my last run ever before 3.0 hit they drop while I'm on NIN...

This is the kind of thing tokens should have been used for rather than being used as currency for completely separate gearsets.

I know the feeling, I ran Stone Vigil solo on AST so many times trying to get the Ancient Sword for glamour, what is worse is I had given up on my whole Cosplay glamour and threw the sword away like the day before I found the perfect set. :(

To get the Acolyte's Skirt, I had to run Tam-Tara Deepcroft 19 times.

It was worth it, though. There's not a cuter skirt for BLM glamour in the whole game.

the turn7 Healer coat ;_; been through that fight so many times and never got it. Saw it drop once but it went to the other healer.

I heard there might be dyable crafted versions sometime soon? I sure hope so, save me from this torment!
