Just thought I would share this as it was pretty upsetting to have my i190 retainer bring back this. Seriously, the worst thing its ever brought back... wth?

Look on the bright side: It's not a water "shard".

Well Water Crystals sound like they would be very shiny, and if Retainers are anything like Adventurers they WILL take the shiny off the ground.

880000 exp for 1 water crystal and you are mad?!

My FC leader got a single water shard.

My i190 CNJ retainer brings me back fish... still.

I'd rather get crystals. At least I use those.

If the retainer is in i190 gear, then that means they are already at 60. That exp would be useless

Well at least it's not a Striped Goby *side eyes at own retainer*

I've had my retainers come back and gotten a water crystal from both of them(and singly a few times too). It's the only type I've ever gotten, so I'm guessing for whatever reason the other elements aren't in the quick venture loot pool.

The opposite happens with my Lalafell Botonist retainer. No accessories, all his equipment is just the basic level 46 gear you buy in Mor Dhona, brings me stuff like Titans Heart, a Crag heart once, some Mog weapons, and I think a Garuda feather once.

My retainer scares me.

Still trying to figure out how a lvl 5 retainer fought garuda...

Hah. My retainer brought me a single thunder shard the other day. I got excited somewhat for half a second, because I thought it might be one of the crafting materials from the Diadem trade ins. I mean really, who would seriously think that they would put shards as retainer loot, much less as single items?

Bad luck I suppose. My retainers ALWAYS seem to get me gear from ilvl 70 to 110, sometimes primal weapons, allagan materials, etc.

So your retainers are bronze level 60?

I've had quite the mix. Yesterday my retainer brought me back a la noscean perch (oh boy, 1 gil pls!) But same said retainer has also brought me mog daggers... (why you hurtin mah precious fluffy moogles?!) Guess she's got some hit or miss days.

I want a new option for when my retainer returns.

"Confirm"
"Reassign"
"Throw Item Back in Retainer's Face" followed up by: "Next time bring back something good or don't come back at all!"

Ok it's a little cruel. I'm sorry, it's just... so many 1Gil Fish. ;;

So wish I could have done that when pre-HW, my i120 mnk retainer brought me a couple of bronze allagan pieces.

One time I had 4 retainers all bring me back a chub the same day. I deleted 2 of them on the spot.

My retainers are pretty normal... Except my Fisher one...
I did expect him to give me fish... Duh

But no... He keep bringing ilevel 110 stuff
Like eacch time...
Either soldiery tombstone stufff
Or 4 star crafted HQ battle gear (kirimu healing boot, platinum healing head piece)
Recently... He decided that is wasn't enough and start giving me poetic item...

Just... How much DoW and DoM is he killing with his rod... -,-

I'm scared... And happy to be his beloved master...

Maybe hes a grandmaster in decoy.

I wish my retainers would bring me back a water crystal more often. Beats a junk item that I have to do extra clicks to either sell or throw away or else it plagues my inventory :/

Not sure if I'm just unlucky but ... early at the release of the new dyes, I got quite a lot of them - now I'm getting random stuff from Saurian gear to malm kelps to Crag's Heart. No more dyes ;_;

Considering all the gear they bring back, I imagine it was a nudist event..

...though perhaps some might see that as a perk.

They didn't. Bought it off the MB instead.

I wish I could give you what my retainers give me. All I seem to get is Allagan materials, PVP gear, furniture, and primal weapons.

I had to cry the time my retainer brought me back a Burning Auricle, she cleared T13 before I even had access to final coil. :(

At least it wasn't an HQ chub. I feel like those exist purely as a joke.

So far, I've gotten PVP gear (for casters) and Wootz/Saurian gear. One of my FC mates got a Kingly Whisker the other day >_>

and who has the retainer that is hogging all the dyes! I haven't seen any since patch!

Got a Syrcus Shard the other day... that was a nice surprise.

While it's long since run out, there was a time when I'm fairly sure my retainer had found a crate full of metallic gold dye. Kept bringing me pots of it for close to a week, at least once a day O.o The same retainer every time, too!

Mine keeps bringing metallic light blue, but I want metallic purple.

My retainer actually doesn't seem to be bringing as much fish as they used to. Now it's usually gear. Most recently I've gotten the Kirimu pants for dragoon, and the Elder Rod.
