Anyone have any super secret hotfix notes on what they're planning to fix with it? I poked around but found no details.

Probably just bug fixes so they wont post anything till the servers are down. Stops people from trying to exploit them.
I pray they fix the ALT+TAB crashes and the duty roulette nonsense.
Probably whatever caused the emergency maintenance on Chaos data center this morning.
I'm guessing some of the known issue will be address. Maybe Duty finder display.
They need to fix the broken Roulettes.
Well guess it's time to see what's up....
Probably just boring housekeeping stuff.
"The texture of a particular patch of grass was displaying incorrectly."
Going to say Alex 4 Normal's moving Manipulator will be fixed, among other bug fixes.
There will be a series of hotfixes because 3.1 brought in a lot of bugs, just as 3.0 did..
Misleading title.
SE posted the issues they fixed here. http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...v.-16%29/page7
The main thing was they reverted the lb generation to how it was. Also various bug fixes.
Damn it. Nothing about the roulette or the game crashing.Quote:

Diadem diadem diadem. Well I think Diadem is fixed guys.
Oh, I got hit with that. I had to run right next to an NPC to get their name to go red so I could attack it. I think it was one of the knights.Quote:

They also still haven't fixed the issue where many people (myself included) are only able to do three Vanu Vanu quests a day instead of six. Two hotfixes and it's been left to continue. Honestly, that's something you'd think would be picked up in testing, but guess not.
Since they've already posted they can't find anything wrong with the Duty Roulette algorithm, I doubt that will change. There isn't a great deal we can do except ... wait and hope?
I won't consider it "fixed" until I can go as my main class. As it stands now, taking a SMN into Diadem HM is a big no-no, especially if your party ever wants to see a gold chest.
Tri-Disaster: "NO EFFECT"
Bio2: "NO EFFECT"
Miasma: "NO EFFECT"
Bio: "NO EFFECT"
Bane: "NO EFFECT"
Fester: "NO EFFECT"
...well, shit. Having to use Energy Drain and Painflare ONLY to get into Dreadwyrm Trance is NOT a solution. This kills the SMN's damage contribution, and it NEEDS TO BE FIXED. And I am NOT taking "PS3 LIMITATIONS" as an answer!
That's not how it worked with other beastman daily's. Hense the confusion I'm sure. Usually each rank you acquire there is a new npc that is offering daily quests. And the old npc still offers the dailies they had. So once you get to say Rank 2 with other beastman, you can start doing 6 daily quests to accelerate your rank up(or now sense HW 12 if your at rank 4). And iirc, the newer ones would have a greater reward. But it seems so far, no matter what rank you are, you still can only get quests from the same npc, they also still give the same reward. And you can sometimes end up getting the same quests you had at the initial rank. So something does seem a little iffy there. It's possible its all intentional, so that people can't just plow through this beastman daily, but who knows atm.
It's listed as a confirmed bug here and awaiting a fix.
You only ever get access to the first three dailies you start off on and can't choose any more, despite going up in rank. If you can only do three even without the glitch, then that's myself misunderstanding how they work. I've gone off what others have told me, since I can't tell otherwise with said glitch, but it's still broken.
My understanding of it is that ranking up expands the pool of quests, but it's still only one giver with 3 at a time.. The bug being that once you ranked up, there were issues with giving the next set. I could be wrong, but ranking up has increased the variety of quests.
Mostly Diadem fixes with no fixes to the DF. At least limit break is fixed.
