So I happened across a strange glitch in Alphinaud's dialogue. I had to reread it three or four times to process what he was saying. I cut the box off the screenshot and saved it to imgur, so I hope it shows here. (Sorry about the box size!)

If you find the dialogue difficult to read, it says: "Ah, yes. 'Tis only meet that I inform Tataru of what has transpired here. If you have need of me, pray come to Fortemps Manor.Well, 'tis only meet that I inform Tataru of what has occurred here. If you have need of me, I shall be at Fortemps Manor."
