People have data-mined some extra "objects" (for lack of a better word to avoid spoilers) that were placed in the datafiles a little while ago so it would seem likely an event is imminent.
In 2013 it started on Friday 18th, in 2014 it started on Monday 20th and this year with the Chaos server move they've probably pushed it back a little (rather than launch it and then almost straight away take the servers down for maintenance).
It seems fair to assume it'll likely be launched at some point this week. -

They probably don't want to start an event wish such a drastic server change.
They could announce it starting tomorrow, but what if something terrible happens to Chaos and they're down two weeks? I mean, yeah you could just run the event specific to the UK data centre at a later time, but that's quite the fuss.

Most likely they want to see Chaos come back up without any problems before they announce an event date. We Europeans would throw a riot - and with good reason - if we got locked out of the event and whatever unique items are launched this year because our servers didn't take well to being moved.

If anyone remembers last years event, I could totally see the NPC characters responsible for holding All Saints Wake completely forgetting about getting ready and wind up being late on starting it.

Lets at least wait till weeks end eh? we have till the 31st and on top of that there is no reason to think the EU servers will slow anything down or not run fine. But you can be sure if they need to hold the event back for fixing things 3.1 will be held back as well

Well, these elements were datamined not long time ago. I wonder what kind of quest we'll get, because... it's a mount. Again. A MOUNT. For the first time ever in ARR, we get a mount as par for a seasonal event. So I'm looking forward to it.

I'm kinda meh about the chest piece, but maybe I'll change my mind if it looks cooler dyed (jet black dye, here we go). The rest of the stuff looks really cool though I think I would have preferred the stuffed succubus as the minion instead. Broom mount, major thumbs up!
