Please consider reworking the DF screen to display the people queuing for each GC

It's likely this has been asked before, but it hasn't been brought up in a while so... would the developers consider redesigned the DF screen so that the number of participants queuing for each GC is shown? Preferebly something akin to the DF screen for 24 player raids - 0/3 tanks, 0/6 healers, 12/12 fps, but for GCs. If there is no vested interest in doing something about queue times (I have no problem with queue times, but many are still complaining), the next best thing would be have some information about our status. This would be preferable to the current system of being dropped-in-the-void-and-waiting-for-a-miracle. I believe this would be a huge QoL update for PvPers. Please consider.

Its kind of sad too, cause I was enjoying my "quick" (15mins or less lol) ques from all the esoteric farmers :/

This would be fantastic, but it would also be nice if people in queue would be assigned a number in line, ie the definition of a queue. Probably by faction. After one night of being able to play ok, last night I suffered in limbo while I saw people in my friends list go into successive matches.

It would call into question the intelligence of keeping Grand Companies going forward in 3.0. They had a chance to do something and new they had issues since the introduction of slaughter. I think they have a word for doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. Not that I am bitter about seeing three matches in a four hour span last night.

This would be nice if only to have a slightly more accurate estimate of time.

I don't trust the DF average wait timer because it LIES. When quing for PvE, at least I can roughly estimate the actual time based on how many/what jobs are qued. Which means that if I have to use the restroom, or grab a drink, or tie my shoes, or whatever, I can ballpark if I'm gonna make it in time for the que. I can't do this for PvP ques because I have no idea how many people have qued and the timer is almost always WRONG. Something like this would be much more convenient.

The likely reason they wont do this, and reason it isnt already like that, is win trading/match-fixing/whateveryouwanttocallit. By looking at who is queuing and such you could manipulate which match you get into etc.

EDIT: I dont have much knowledge of exactly how DF works but wouldn't this suggestion also cause problems with 72 vs 24 man games?

We don't need to know which individual is queuing, just how many people are in the queue from each GC so we have a better ETA on how long it takes (and whether or not I should step away for 2 minutes)

Or because we don't want anything to do with the Eso farmers who come out in droves during Tuesday/Wednesday. Already had one jackass thank the party for easy Eso's while he was afk the entire match. Super annoying.

That aside, I have noticed Ques have started to slow down. Even during off hours I could usually score a 5 -10 minute que with the Flames. Now I'm looking at 15-25 minutes... Not good for the exp Grind. I'm starting to regret taking a break to level another job.

Betwen this and everything else, seal rock also starts to lose its novelty the longer it's out, much like Slaughter/Secure's queue times. If you wanted to get something done like rank 50 or ADS mount, it was a good time to do it as soon as it came out before 3.1 rears it's head in, cause PvP/frontlines is gonna be in a desert update for a while.

Tell me about it. Sometimes I hate my server...

I get the impression that Aether has a much healthier PvP community than Primal, and even then it depends on the individual world. Ultros and Behemoth seem to have a pretty decent PvP following, but the PvP scene on Diabolos is nearly non-existent. I only ever see one or two other people in the lists from my world across all 3 GC's.

That's what I was worried about. It was the same back when FL first came out as well. Early in the patch, you really have to get your grind on if you want to make the best of it, because late in the patch the ques grind to a halt. I was hoping to beat it this time, and I rocketed from rank 30 to 40, but after 40 progress slowed to a crawl. I had to start doing something else to save my sanity. I'm back at it again (having two PvP capable jobs makes it easier to get some sense of variety), but now I'm worried ques will dry up before I get to rank 50. After 45 the Exp grind has been painful...3 ranks to go and each match feels like it barely adds to the bucket.
