Whenever a new set of raids/gear comes out I always look what SE stacks on my gear before retuning with crafted/melds to fit my purpose. But with crafted raid gear poop till 3.2, I found I can only work 1 stat after str and chose crit for 2k royal authority and 6-7k clemency. What did y'all stack?

I generally have been favoring Crit where possible, though of course right now ilevel > all. The exception was Pentamelded accessories, where I ended up going with Fending Ears/Wrists instead of Slaying due to being Acc/Crit.
I'm basing Crit though on the assumption that the weightings are similar to most other classes, plus the fact that it affects all skills and attacks including heals. In 2.0 it was basically Det >>>>> Crit > Sks, but it -seems- Crit has now taken top spot. I havent yet seen exact DPS weightings though, but I don't see a reason that Crit wouldn't be as important for Paladins as it is for other dps classes. Skillspeed is nice given the higher weighting on DOTs we have now, but doesnt affect cast speed and we're very TP limited.
Right now though choosing stats as a Paladin is more about "avoiding Parry" than "choosing a specific dps stat". For now, unless I hear otherwise from new testing, my personal preference will be Crit > Det > Sks. If they boost our TP regen then SkS will probably move up the rankings.
If anyone has any links to any specific tests/weighting for Paladins that show that Det or Sks actually impacts DPS more than Crit (maybe due to PLDs not having access to Internal Release) then I'd be interested to see - thankfully right now there isnt really any aspect of my gearing where i've had to make a decision between two stats outside of avoiding parry. -

Personally what I would stack on my PLD and/or DRK: Accuracy cap > Det >= Crit > Skill Speed.
On WAR: Accuracy cap > SkS to 480+ > Crit > Det > more SkS.
Crit is nice now since it adds chance AND crit damage. But DRK and PLD have no native crit boosts, unlike WAR. So I prefer the sure damage from determination. However, Determination is only slightly better than crit for me. At least imo.
SkS is awesome now since PLD can fit 1 more GCD between its combos without having Goring Blade drop. Goring Blade is 24s or 9.6 GCDs, having more SkS would easily fit 10 GCDs into the 24 seconds. SkS also affects DoTs and PLD has over 400 potency DoT damage every 25 seconds (between GB and CoS). I would stack SkS if DRK and PLD didn't have their TP issues, but as it stands, SkS is my least favorite stack on PLD and DRK.
Do to their nature, tanks have a very similar stat weight to DRG. They are not exactly the same, but VERY similar.Quote:

Yeah the TP thing is the only thing making me leery on skillspeed.
If they DO give some kind of boost to TP regen, both in Sword AND Shield Oath, I'll probably prioritise it over Det/Crit for now. I just enjoy the feel of stacking it and at least want to hit the breakpoints for additional GCDs under FoF and reducing clipping from Goring.
Offtopic, I wish they'd do what WoW did and consolidate Skill Speed and Spell Speed into a single "haste" stat, so Paladins stacking skillspeed also increase the cast rate of Clemency and Flash. -

As far as the OP goes every stat weight chart I've seen has crit over det so far. This would also be emphasized to a greater degree on Pally I think since the affect of det on auto attacks was nerfed when homogenizing the secondaries. -

The only difference is with Slaying you can cap VIT with 4 materia compared to Fending which takes all 5 to cap STR. The only reason to choose one over the other is secondary stat preference or money.Quote:

I mean vit > str as I make VIT accessories and put str in em but not all are capped because when some people see a lot of activity like buying 30 str IVs they tend to jack prices up retarded amounts so out of my 5 accessories I think I got 29/30/28/29/29 str melded and if being 1-3 away from cap is hurting my dps to a detriment on my team then they have far more to worry about with their own dps before talking bout mine lol

A certain amount of speed will let you get another combo finisher in fight or flight. Not sure exactly how much you need though.

Nothing's worse than losing one of only two DoT's a Paladin can apply (Fracture doesn't really count anymore,) because combination moves just don't line up with DoT duration lol. Now that's interesting to see. I've never intentionally stacked skill speed on my pld before just what a couple pieces of gear had that I would use anyway. But if your getting an additional combo off during FoF I need to look into it a little more. I hear tell SS also helps goring blade and circle of scorn potency as well?

It's not a full combo, just the ender. Basically, you Fast>Riot and then at the verrrry end of the Riot GCD you FoF>Goring. Then you get a RA, RA, Goring, RA all in FoF. It's easy with Selene. I sometimes miss it without Selene, now that I have less SS.
