Which region do you want to see next?

We're now in Ishgard and its regions.
What about the next one? Do you want to go to Garlemald? Meracydia? Ala Mhigo?

I'll vote for Meracydia, it's a brand new continent and and going from Ishgard's icy mountains to a jungle/desert could be fun

GARLEMALD! If the MSQ continues to include Garleans causing problems for the WoL, I imagine it would HAVE to lead there...

I'd like to see both Ala Mhigo and Garlamald next. Though, it's doubtful we'll see the latter any time soon unless SE decides to do both for the next expansion.

As a serious answer... they hinted that the next expac could have us visiting underwater locations. I'd really like to see what SE could do with that.

As a really out there idea... a Tron-like Allagan computer system ：D

Garlamald as a runner up, but going there is perhaps a little endgame in terms of story, one would think?

Ala Mhigo, hands down. Failing that, I want to see the Sharylayan mainland.

I suspect it'll be a slow march east through the as of yet unexplored parts of Eorzea and into Garlean territory, but with the underwater comments who knows.

Prediction time!!

The next expansion will be a time travel expansion to the War of the Mages era (i think its the 3 umbral era?)
New Race will be Golem type race brought into existence by Mages of the time
The area will be centered around the Island Lalafells originated from including a lot of underwater areas and swimming
New Jobs:
Tank : Geomancer
Healer: Dancer
DPS: Blue Mage and Red Mage (opposing forces of the War of the Mages, each side has a job trainer. The player has missions on both sides unlocking the ability to get both Jobs)

These are my predictions, they are 100% true, calling it now.

Sorta wanna go to the near east... let's all visit Radz-at-Han.. or the actual continent of Sharlayan (opposite direction I know).

The part of Abalathia's Spine with Hellsguard roegadyns. I really would like to see what their homeland is like.
But also I would really like an expansion focused around Ala Mhigo.

Wherever the Dancer class unlocks at. ;D

I'd really like to go where all the Sharlayans came from =D I'm not entirely sure why, just sounds like it could be cool =)

Definitely Garlemald. I feel like the environments could be very interestingly designed, and getting rid of them (or their corrupt members) would be great. They've been a threat since 1.0, and nothing's really changed too much since then with them. Ala Mhigo sounds very boring to me honestly, maybe a single patch dedicated to it, but an entire expansion? I'm not opposed to it, but there are better things.

I think visiting Garlemaid before the other regions would be too soon. We need to visit the territories that they seized and return them back to those citizens leading up to a great finale of all the new Eorzean city-state alliances against the empire. I hope we have many regions to visit before we get to that point.

I want Garlemald, I haven't given up on my dream of a full imperial style plate armor for my pld!

Isn't Dalmasca from FFXII?

The Beast Tribe regions. Annoyingly, the pathways to them are already there waiting to be opened up.

We have that large tower in Southern Thanalan, which if you travel into Zahar'ak you can see a gated pathway leading towards, which should also lead into Paglth'an.
In Central Coerthan Highlands, just up from Natalan, we have an Ixali gate leading up into the mountains, which would be the prime pathway into Xelphatol.
Then we have this little gem from 1.xx back when they were teasing new maps;

"New Volcano Zone", something we currently don't have (though if you go there in game, you can see a path blocked by rubble), and would make the perfect zone entrance for the northern La Noscea/Mount O'ghomoro region.

The Sylphs and Sahagin are a bit harder to place though... Well, the Sahagin aren't, just that their home is underwater, however I do recall the developers talking about the expansion being either sky/flying related (which we got) or sea/swimming related, so that could easily be next on the agenda... Sylphs... They share the Black Shroud, but the Sylphlands have a few parts which could lead into a new zone... Then there is West Shroud... Something happened there, as evident by the giant crystal structures and awesome looking waterfalls that can be made out... I'd love to actually get that as a zone...

Here is what I think, and it seems logical.

3.x The Sharlayan outpost east of Dravania
4.0 Paglth'an and The Liberation of Ala Mhigo
4.x The Xelphatol and Gyn Abania fronts
5.0 The Invasion of the Garlean Empire

Well they said the want to expand to sea next since their base options were sea and sky and they just couldnt make the sea option work in time. I would like to see the expanshion around limsa and starting the reclaimation of doma in the next xpac

Gyn Abania and Xelphatol (exile land of the Ixals after the elementals banned them out of the black shroud and maybe also homeland of the Hell Guards)

Dalmasca is a city in Othard.

"Time travel" expansions are the canary in the coal mine of the well of creativity running dry. I hope I never see one in this game.

I want the next expansion to be Doma but there's higher chance they're going to do Ala Mhigo first.

I just hope we don't have floating land masses again. I dislike them so badly. Also, a place where mogs have been made extinct would be lovely, along with vath, dragons, talking broomsticks and anything else too lazy to go and fetch things for themselves.

I want to see Doma, also more areas of our current land, I want to climb that volcano after hours of exploration :D

Let us visit Vana d'iel and play through those zones. I don't even care if they're straight copy-pasted, that would be just. Such a blast of Nostalgia. Wouldn't even mind seeing it being some kinda paralell dimension/ascian thing, either. I'd -love- to see the Warrior of Light misplaced onto another Final Fantasy game.

Definitely too early to see Garlemald but on that note about liberating territories Who says we'll even do that? Could run into an Arcadian esque scenario where they generally do more 'good' than 'bad' under different leadership. Although good and bad in this case is subjective, We still know little about the country as a whole and how life under the imperials actually is.

the rest of Eorzea, before go in the two other conteninent or head to the moon or another dimension, i really wish we have the whole eorzea accessible!
