About SCH artifact

So i was about to buy my new SCH eso wep and.....what's going on?
92 Spell speed? Why would i need that? Why there's a freaking amount of 92 crit on a WHM wep o_e ?
And not just that, even the chest piece.
Determination? When both WHM and AST have 82/60 Crit ???
Even the Gordian wep, not a single crit point.

Seriously who came up with these stats?

SE gives us shields that requires crit to fully shine.....and then.... gives us 0 crit on our new artifacts....wut?
Time to get the hive codex...... ¬¬

Yeah...I am with you on this one...it really seems like things are not thought through sometimes but they would have to be for a reason. Have not looked at in a while but is the CRIT for scholar on "other" gear pieces maybe. Scholar is my 2nd job so I am more focused on Bard gear right now.
I know that the Bard ESO weapon is not ideal either so eh....whatever I guess...bought it anyway because no way I am beating A4S any time soon, have not even attempted A1S.

Not on eso at least.
The only pieces with Crit are:
Boots and Hat (37 each)= 74 total + eso acc (28,39) = 141
While WHM
Robe (86), Boots(37), Weapon(92)= 215 total + eso acc (28,39) = 282
And AST
Robe (60), Boots (53) = 113 + eso acc (28,39) = 180
We have...
WHM with almost 300 crit
AST with almost 200
and SCH( the one who needs the most) with almost 150.......1.5.0!!!!!!
WHAT? There must be something wrong here o_e

I have even been noticing in my Law set on Scholar my CRIT is terrible...It is almost like they don't want us crit'ing shileds as much...pretty lame.

I don't know what's going on, but SCH needs crit. Not attack speed .____.

They never have put the most optimal stats on weapons. Nothing really has changed here.

Also in BiS for SCH this patch you can get 800 crit. BiS always takes into account a mixture of raid gear and tomestone gear. 800 is a lot.

This, pretty much. Welcome to Square Enix itemization, where Dragoons had nothing but Skill Speed in 2.2 and SMNs had nothing but Spell Speed in 2.4. On the flip side, crit rained for SCHs in 2.0 and 2.2. Sometimes the itemization dartboard favors you, and sometimes it doesn't.

It's also worth noting that with the various adjustments to stats and scaling post-50 that the secondary stats are all much closer in value than they used to be, if initial testing and models from folks like Dervy are any indication.

Exactly, in the end, imagine with that 800 tacked on if your weapon and body had the same stats as the WHM set, you're easily looking at 900+ which would be all kinds of broken. The gordian legs alone have 94 crit.

AST IMO seems to need Crit and peity. I do not think DET has a big effect like it did pre-HW, so it may not be as important. But i would need confirmation.

Guess they want to limit the occurance of SCH's getting a 4k crit adlo on a war, followed by a deployment tactics, thus granting an 8k raid-wide shield lol.

I guess spell speed's good for the DoTs now at least? Still, that's pretty poor, yeah.

I just thought that since thats our artifact it should have the most important stats for your specific job, since...well its your job "theme" gear.

By artifact, do you mean Relic? Cause I think you are missing something important here, Relic weapons for 3.0 haven't even been put in the game yet, devs have said that it will be 3.1 or later until those are in the game.

Yeah all the AF armour doesn't seem to have the right stats. The class with multiple hots doesn't get a bunch of spell speed, and the class that gets special procs on crits doesn't get a bunch of crit.

The Bard ESO weapon is better according to the latest stat weights posted. so you made a good choice. I haven't seen any newer stat weights for SCH yet however so I can't speak on that particularly.

This always happens with healers though. Where the upgraded tome chest will be likely BiS for one job, and the raid drop would be for the other. Last raid cycle BiS was upgraded Ironworks for WHM, and Dreadwyrm for SCH.

In the case of WHM, the i210 Gordian chest (A4S drop) would be BiS over the upgraded AF. But SCH, the upgraded AF would be over Gordian.

Although I'm sure SCHs would rather have that WHM AF +94 Crit over SCH AF +90 DET. But it's still very good to have either. The fairy would appreciate it the most.

Nope, artifact.
Even Seika (the npc who upgrades eso/doman equipments) have the option "Repairing artifact gear" (which is basically upgrading your esoteric -aka artifact- to its ilv 210 version)

Id be up to 868 crit if I could just have the 82 crit top. ;-; WHY NO SCH TOP PAST 160 GREEN HAS CRITS?!

Also I'm not sure how someone is hitting 800+ crit on their SCH. I'm gimped to the 170/180 rings + a few other 180 pieces just to hold onto my crit rate. o-o
... Unless they are wearing the 160 top. ._.

What is the crit values on the savage armor pieces. Not in game at the moment to go take a look but thinking those would be best in slot for sch. Doesn't hurt that those are not job specific either so can be worn by all healers.
