Refund option on Tombstone items back to the Merchant you bought it off

As the title says I wish for something like a 24 hour refund option on tombstone items.

Like for instance I bought the Machinist ilvl170 weapon but literally two hours later I got the Ravana EX weapon from a drop instead of purchasing with the Hive Tomes.

Now yes that was my fault I maybe should have held on to getting the weapon from Ravana but now the ilvl170 weapon is a waste of 570 Law tomes which I know I am not getting back, Now in World of Warcraft you can as long it is within 24 hours can refund your item back to the Vendor and get your Currency back you spent on it. Now this feature would be an awesome addition to an awesome game.

Please consider this an option guys! ^^

....also...Law tomes are unlimited farm. That's one days roulettes, and maybe an extra dungeon. Also you prolly needed the law gun to do the damage to be worth anything in Ravana, so it wasn't useless. Desynth, convert, or glamour. Don't be lazy. law flows like water.

No need to get defensive and I wasn't playing Machinist in Ravana I was just making a feedback point, as I feel the option to refund the Item back to the Vendor to be a nice feature yeah its easy to farm tomes but if you get an incorrect item by mistake you can only refund that once and only once.

Yes there are thing in place to make sure you don't buy the incorrect item but also in my situation I pre bought a weapon for Machinist pro-actively as I was levelling it up as I was getting bored of Tanking and found it interesting and fun. But funnily enough I go into Ravana with my static as tank and what do you know it drops the machinist weapon and I get it.

I was just asking to see if its something that might be added later or see what other people think, your attitude was quite rude and you could've put your point across better.

Finally THE only reason I mentioned World Of Warcraft is that was the only other MMO that had that feature in place that I could think off.

And it isnt being lazy if I believe that just getting a weapon for 570 Law and then 2 hours later I get a better weapon, now that weapon is going to sit there in my inventory doing nothing and is never going to be used and plus I don't craft so I cannot even desynth and it is an ugly weapon and finally you cannot Convert it either as its a blue weapon...

What are tombstones?

For the new tombstones coming out tomorrow which are limited each week, I kind of agree abit, a refund from a mistaken buy within a certain time frame could be justified since you pretty much wasted a week.

But for law tombstones which are unlimited, nah. They're pretty pointless tbh once you get one main fully gear and start farming Alexander.

Always plan ahead, best thing you can do in a game like this,
take everything you can do which is limited to a time frame and do that first,
like weekly tokens and tombstone caps, MGP tickets. Etc

The tricky armor management will start when savage begins, because you could use your limited weekly tokens on a armor piece and the same piece could drop the week after. This is where people will feel the sting, I bet on it.

WAs not being defensive, and sorry you perceived it as being rude. Just tired of seeing all these forums threads asking for changes because they saw it in another game, or another game does something differently. Everyone has been in your shoes, it happens with the way SE gears us. Just be thankful it was only tomes, and not seals as well.

Its those things you see in the cemetery marking a grave, but thats not important right now.

I know it sucks, I've been there as well.. SMN book currently sitting in retainer rotting. New tomes gear with Alex drops will be tricky too. I don't tend to plan much ahead. So now this will add more to it. I had some slips with buying poet gear, then getting dread gear. It sucks, but just think in a few weeks, they will have new stuff for us to replace things too.

It's the way you came across and yes I understand this feature is in another game, I just merely making a feedback suggestion as it would be a nice little feature to have, as yeah Law maybe not as Talia pointed out but maybe the weekly capped tomestone we are about to get, if you screw up there isn't a fallback at the moment other than the fact you throw the piece of equipment away and lost out on those tomestone.

I was merely suggesting it not demanding it.

Agreed they will have new stuff to replace it but I am trying to gear up Machinist as fast as humanly possible so I can get the dps/support spot in my Static group instead as Main Tank.

Yes mistakes where made and I lost out Tomestones that's on me which I do understand it is easily made back but I was also just using that as an example as I know Law flows like a river, was just looking into the future, as my example made me think of the idea.

While I agree that for the case the OP mentioned, getting refund might be a bit excessive, I also think that certain time limit, be it from minutes to an hour, wouldn't be out of place, even if just for "was meaning to get caster gear, got accidentally healer instead" kind of situations.
