Possible To Level 52 To 60 in 24 Hours?

My wifes losing a ton of time to play and I'm way a head of her and I can tell it's bothering her. Not her fault her work schedule sucks and mines awesome. My proposal to you guys is this.

This coming Friday I plan on playing for 24 straight hours. My goal is to try and get her to 60 with in those 24 hours. Please post your suggestions below for achieving this the fastest way possible.

I know I'm going to regret this but love makes you do crazy things.

As in going on her account to level her? Announcing that could be seen as account sharing, which is bannable. Though I do commend you for wanting to help her. Assuming this is not the case, just burn the main story quest, side quests and dungeons.

I wouldn't recommend this. Ever see that 1000 ways to die episode with the gamer? Doing all the side quests along the way will get close. Though those Moogle quests may drive you crazy if playing for 24 hours straight doesn't.

No, I made her a deal that is she can get through the 24 hour leveling, she can have a prize that she desires. She's agreed to these terms so I'm just trying to find the fastest way through. Following her and helping her kill enemies is going to bore the crap outta me.

I think SE really should consider bringing back that advisory from XI about not forgetting family, friends, sleep, etc.

it is possible yes, FC mate did 50-> 60 in 25ish hours or so. though it was quite a bit nonstop grind.

I don't think it's possible(for most) but maybe? I played for about 13 hours yesterday(cooking inbetween) and got from 57- 80% into 59. I did MSQ whenever I could, tons of side quests in the second half of cloudtop, roulette, and then just straight dungeon grinding for a bit.

Pre cook meals, buy a case of water, get some energy drinks, stay focused. If you are a tank you can probably grind dungeons even faster if you have the gear and set the pace high.

what job? if it's tank/healer just grind dungeons. it takes maybe 60 dungeons runs to get from 51 to 60, unless you get matched with really bad players that's about 30 hours total.

and you're playing her account? that's a bad idea because most of the new skills take a lot of time to get used to.

It might be hard the first time around without armory bonus and nothing unlocked. You will have to do all of the msq and class quests. The side story quests will be quicker with two people though. You should at least be able to knock out to 58 though.

No she's playing her own account. I'm just going to be there to help mill stuff and dungeon run with her. Sadly she's a Bard so the queues will take some time

if it's 2 people, it doesn't matter if 1 is DPS as long as the other is tank/heal.

just do nothing but MSQ and queue dungeons with her as tank/healer. 24 hours is very possible. don't even bother with syncing for flight and aether quests.

The bonus from MSQ's is the first priority, so she should be running those until she hits a each gate where the MSQ requires you to go up a level to continue. They offer 2x the exp of the side quests at the same level, and some are just a matter of talking to people. As far as side quests go I wouldn't do any that get outleveled, for example when I hit 54 I cancelled the ones at 53 because I'll want them on another class later as soon as it reaches 53. Although... doing them all on her first class to 60 might help her get there faster than otherwise, to answer your question about leveling in a shorter timeframe... it's just that it screws her over later when leveling other classes to 60 unless she actually likes doing the same levequests over and over. Btw if you have a healer you can help her with completing levequests she's running faster by healing her as needed while not being in a party with her, so she can focus on dps'ing enemies fast as possible. If not in a party with someone in a levequest you pull 0 aggro by healing them and it doesn't impact their exp. It's why whenever I see someone on a levequest with 25% HP or less I can dismount to heal them to 100% without it keeping me from being able to remount again.

I honestly don't see it happening. If your not conditioned to long spurts of gaming the fatigue can be far worse than exercising. I splurged on the release of the expansion and I felt like crap for the entirety of it.

I would set a more realistic goal. Even then, the MSQ isn't something I'd personally recommend blasting through; it was really well done considering this is a MMO.

My fiancé's been stuck at level 56 for the last week whereas I've been farming Alexander. You just gotta find ways to make the journey fun for her, which usually is just doing the content with her.

With armory bonus yes. 52 to 60 takes around 40 dungeon runs. If each run takes 35 minutes with no queue times between, you'd be done in 23 hours 30 minutes.

But assuming you are still alive after making it to 60 in 24 hours, how do you know she'll welcome this?

May I suggest leveling another job, make it to 52, and play with that other job with her when her schedule allows her?

How about Scholar if you have SMN/SCH at 50? You get to level 2 jobs to 50 at once via ACN class that way, and the new job skills for the two are actually fun and useful (unlike for some classes I'm sure you've heard about). You'd have a choice of Titan-egi to tank for when you're partied together if on SMN or Eos/Selene as SCH, and when she does levequests you can swap to SCH to heal. And based on her being lvl 52 you should have no problem surviving if you go along with her on these classes starting now.
