So its pretty common knowledge that using thundercloud procs (outside of sometimes in motion) is a pretty big dps loss. My proposition is quite simple- remove thundercloud procs from our global. Thundercloud was such a fun ability to use in 2.xx that having it be completely garbage right now outside of very niche situations, kinda makes me sad. Taking it off our GCD would not break the games mechanics, or skyrocket our dps since its so RNG intensive- but it would vastly increase the fun factor for Blm.

I'm kinda mixed. On the one hand, I do miss Thunder 3 and the procs, but on the other hand I don't really notice unless I actively think about it. I'm kinda digging the new mostly procless rotation of Blm, though there are a couple things that annoy me (like not being able to fire 4 immediately after Fire 3 and AF3 is set up). I dunno, I have a feeling us ignoring Thundercloud and Thunder spells in general was not intentional as it would seem rather odd if it was and I do expect that they'll do something make it not a dps loss to do.
That or they could ditch Scathe and turn the Thunder spells into a new mobile spell in which we can cast them while moving. Thunder being the cheap and weak spam spell, Thunder 2 being the aoe spell and Thunder 3 being the expensive but super strong spell and give us a trait similar to Firestarter where casting Thunder 1 gives us a chance to cast a free and instant Thunder 3. This way we have a mobile spell and Thunder still has some use to us while not having to find a way to shoehorn it into level 60 rotation. -

I believe we are the only Job in the game right now where (from the expansion) one of our signature ability/procs has become borderline useless. If enough of us blms speak up about the issue, I honestly think it will get addressed.

Could be nice if it was simply an auto cast - if it procs, it refreshes the thunder and does its damage.
Would have to be a bit lower potency to make up for the fact you don't need a gcd to use it however. -

Enochian has a whole need some sort of duration increase because after the first refrsh, you cannot even use firestarter or thundercloud before enochian run out. And going back to 2.0 rotation is a massive dps loss because you can only fit 4 fire I in the rotation instead of 5 -

Frankly, the whole Thunder and Thundercloud proc system needs a makeover. Simply using Thunder in the rotation is a DPS loss in most cases.

They could just take the easy way out.
Allow blm to cast fire IV and blizzard IV without enochian.
We still want enochian up for the damage boost but if it run out because of mechanics and movement. we lose 5% damage instead of 40-50%
The rotation dont change. Firestarters and thundercloud are worth using again. -

I feel that they should bring Thunder spells more in line with the other two. T1 is fine how it is, but T2 is just adding a few seconds and not really much potency, and T3 is only good when you've got a proc. In my mind T1 should have T2's potency, T2 gets T1's old potency but is now AOE, and T3 has a diminishing return based duration like Enochian.
