The title says it all HW was a huge waste of money because you can't heal through stupid. When the tanks and dps keep eating aoe's it burn's through all my mana. I cant hit Shroud of Saints enough I keep running out of mana. SE needs to nerf the hell out of the dungeons enough so simpletons can pass them with out fail.

I thought everything was already nerfed to the point where stupid can make it through?

You expect way too much on Duty Finder groups.

Making it that brain-dead easy would have most of the player-base quitting because hey, some difficulty is fun. Too much of course isn't, but too easy is just as unfun.

Use assize more? It restores mana as well as either doing AoE damage or a big AoE heal depending if you have cleric stance on or not. Rotating between assize and shroud I can keep my mana up well in most fights unless it's really dragging on and I need to help out with adds a lot because the DPS are slow.

Manage expectations.

I always expect DF to be mediocre at best. When I get good players, it's fantastic; when I get the rest, I resign myself to holding the child leash as I walk them through duties.

Odd. Even with first timers dungeons were usually cleared within one two tries.

Grinded my AST to 60 only with dungeons... In this times i only had 2 Boss Wipes! Both in the Vault.
You can carry it pretty good as healer. The Mechanics aren't 1 hit. Also explaining mechanics will help. Most ppl will listen to it.

I have not had to do any fights outside of the Hard/Extreme primals where more than a single failed attempt was necessary, with one-shots being far more common. As long as you explain the basic mechanics in a simple-to-understand way, people do a fairly good job of avoiding AoEs and performing mechanics correctly.

I call troll. And a depressingly successful one too.

Usually with "ER BODY BUT ME IS BAD!1!1!!1!1!" posts, the persons who needs the most work is the poster.

Post a few vids of your runs and we might be able to offer better input.

5 Sec Cooldown
Drags the target player to your location. The message "LEARN TO DODGE, IDIOT!" appears in the center of the target's screen in flashing rainbow letters.

In addition, plays an air horn sound effect for the target that ignores their volume settings and places a debuff on the target that makes any loot they win for the next 12 hours neon "caution" orange and unable to be dyed or glamoured.

THats a problem with players, not the game.
I don't know what you were expecting. o_Oa Heavensward is the same as ARR in that regard.

Thanks for all the replies everyone, today's groups were much better then yesterday. And I do use Assize and Shroud of Saints but when people are getting hit with one aoe after the other its impossible to keep them up. And @winstock am I perfect no, no one is perfect.

P.S. Yes I am using DF and I guess I am expecting too much.

Nah, bro. They can nerf all mobs and bosses to 0hp so tht they insta-die the second the instance starts. For good measure rework the map so it resembles a simple corridor leading directly to the exit spawn and also add a shortcut leading there from the start to prevent anyone from getting lost. If that level of nerf is not enough I'll just uninstall because at that point I have no more faith to lose on the playerbase.
