Lv56+ Scrip Rotations

What rotations are you guys all using to get your scrips?

I'm not getting higher the 432 for bananas ... Iv got 476Gearther and 600 GP
Eye-Utmost-Meth-Eye-Utmost-Meth = 432 (for me at lev 57)

From some quick napkin math I came up with (this will only net you 1 item):
Dont use toil
Utmost - Impulsive x4
Single Mind - Method x 1
Collect x 1

On average this should net you the most rarity.

Another rotation (nets you 2 items, but will be 20% less quality than above, on average):
Deep Breath
Utmost Caution
Discerning Eye
Instinctual x 3
Collect x 2

The only thing I dont know for sure is if Utmost and Deep Breath work against each other. Still leaves you with 5 more wear, can probably be improved once we have 700gp

The second rotation you posted works very well. I get around 2 items with 450-550 quality each time.

How much Gathering and Perception are needed for your second rotation?

Right now with Haddock Dip I am at 500 perception.

499 Gathering is enough to get the items .. but 487 Perception is too low for that second rotation. I got two Heavens Lemons at 350ish Collectability .. and those things require 450 ..

Stupid question but I'm guessing this is with better gear and higher level? I have basically max Foragers and the 2nd rotation leaves me short of 400 consistently, much less 450.

Or rather, for just leveling should I even try getting more than 1 item from the stuff higher than Yellow Copper Ore / Old World Fig?

For just leveling up, I've successfully gotten the stuff between the 3 star options, and the 450+ Collectability. Dravanian Mistletoe, the mushroom things, Pearl Sprouts, Chalocite, Yellow Quartz. What I did was, with 600 GP and generally BiS gear from before HW :

Discerning Eye, Methodical Appraisal. Discerning Eye, Methodical Appraisal. Discerning Eye, Methodical Appraisal.
Collect two items.

I try it with a Heavens Lemon or Abalathian Rock Salt, though, and I'm left with nothing to hand in - not enough Collectability. And that's after boosting my Gathering and Perception (at the cost of some 23 GP) with the storebought left side NQ gear.

Is there any benefit to getting so much collectability?

Wearing pre-HW gear, with 600GP and no food, I'm consistantly getting at least 4 (rarely 5) 3* items with above minimum collectability by using:
1 hit to expose the item in slot 2,
Ageless Words or Solid reason to get that hit back,
Field Mastery or Sharp Vision to get a 100% gathering rate,
Discerning eye,
Instinctual Appraisal,
another Instinctual Appraisal (if I haven't struck lucky and passed the 240 already),
and then collect 4 times (or 5 if I didn't have to use the 2nd Instinctual).

I still seem to get around the 60k experience per item regardless of if I have more collectability or not. 580k per 70mins for both my BTN and MIN classes is how I've been levelling them both up without the need for leves (I'm also doing all 8 crafting classes at once so that allowance can only go so far), just going between the Yellow Copper Ore and the Old World Fig and returning every half hour -ish. Of course starred GC hand ins and the like are always nice too :3

For YCO and OWF that's all you need to do. I do slightly different and I feel it nets 4/sometimes5 often enough (without gambling on Methodical twice).

(Also, if you use Attempt+1-300GP you can Toil for the same effect instead)

Hit-reveal
Instinctual - looking for at least 125
Methodical - if last Instinctual was not 125, use Discerning Eye
Hit 4 times, a 5th time if you didn't have to use Discerning Eye

You could try using Impulsive but I feel Methodical gives 125+ more than 30% of the time so I don't like the gamble.

For pure EXP, YCO and OWF blow everything else from 50-55 collectibles away. I think all the way up honestly, because you can't really beat 240k/300k a node with 1-2 items (the most you will get on later nodes).

Collecting 4 OWF at the base level would get roughly 240k exp. Collecting two PS at the middle or top levels would get around 200k exp (less if middle, more if top). Collecting two Dravanian Mistletoe at the top level gets me over 300k exp. Unfortunately for me, my stats at 57 are not high enough to collect the HL at even the base level. Although the desired item on the Mining side is level 53 and not 54, the Chalcocite is in the same boat as the Dravanian Mistletoe - less exp than the Dravanian Mistletoe, but at the highest level two of them are worth more exp than four Old World Fig.

My method for collecting those two items is the one I state above, using 600 GP. That was getting me 450+ Collectability on any node prior to the level 56 scrips node (where I got a lot less) and is currently getting me a little over 500 Collectability on the Dravanian Mistletoe/Chalcocite.

Actually, upon reflection, I'm thinking that collecting three of the low Collectability level 54 item is better than collecting two of the high Collectability level 54 item. That would be with the level 57 ability, Single Mind, which costs 200 GP.

I'm going to have to try this next time, it might even be (given my 499 Gathering, 487 Perception) enough to hit mid level Collectability.

I can get Abalathian Mistletoe every node but when i move to Red Quartz i always get twenty below. I use this rotation each time but it seems to only work for Mistletoe - Deep Breath

G 561 P 564 without food

So what is a good rotation for the level 56 items? I have 501 perception with no food and 606 GP atm.

That is what I consider to be the "basic rotation" and it only works when you have 600 GP.

At level 57, if the item calls for a low enough Collectability and you have enough Perception, you can try exchanging one (or more!) Discerning Eye with Single Mind. This foregoes the 50% Collectability boost to the Methodical Appraisal, but it saves you a swing at the node, letting you collect more of the item. I can collect 5 300+ Collectability Old World Fig/Yellow Copper Ore items this way.

My rotation for the 450 ones:

Swing for reveal -> utmost + single mind + methodical -> utmost + single mind + methodical -> methodical -> methodical -> collect x3 (methodical must at least be 113 for each hit)

for 360 and 400 I do:

Swing for reveal -> single mind + methodical -> single mind + methodical -> discerning eye + methodical -> collect x4 (methodical must be 115)

You must have high perception for it to work.

Here is my 450 rotation:

Hit to reveal, Single Mind + Discerning Eye + Methodical > Discerning Eye + Methodical > Methodical > Collect x3

Similar to Grotesque's method, you need 113 as your base methodical (or 169 for DS methodical)

Would people mind posting their stats along with their rotations? It would help some of us lesser geared folks out to know what to aim for. Thanks! :)

I am at 586 perception and that results with 115 methodicals on Cuprite/Morel

On Ephemeral nodes, is it "better" go get 1x of a 300 collect (2 purity), or 3x of low collect (1 purity) on the nodes you're not really trying on? I know it's not really of a huge difference but looking for inpit.

There is only one reason to gather a Collectable from an ephemeral node : Aetherial Reduction. For that, from what little I've played around with it, you generally want the higher Collectability rating. Get too low a collectability rating, and you cannot even break it down.

Uh, you only need one appraisal to get it as a bare minimum collectable. If you can't get it to 300 collectable then there's no point in doing more than one appraisal.

What I'm asking is should I get 3 attempts with no effort, or 1 attempt with some effort. 1 purity is only crystals, 2 is crystals with occasionally clusters. You want higher obviously, but when I'm letting my GP recover or the node didn't have any hidden items I'm asking which is better: 1x3 or 2x1.

My first visit to an Ephemeral node had me getting a Collectible that was too low for me to Reduce. It was 1/8, on that scale, though I do not recall the Collectability stat on it.

Just because you can get it as a Collectible does not mean that you can reduce it. And, from what I can tell, the ONLY reason to get a Collectible from an Ephemeral node is for the Aetherial Reduction, as they have no other use (at least, not that I'm aware of). If your sole concern is regaining GP through swings, skip the Ephemeral node and come back when you've got enough to get a good Collectability. Unless its near the end of the four hour ET window, that node is not going to go anywhere.

I can reduce as low as one appraisal, under 70 collectability. So I dunno what to tell you. I reduce 1/8 purity all day.

FWIW, answered my own question. It's easy enough to just get 300 collect and gather 1 if Methodical is 100+.

if you have 600 gp you can just discrening eye - methodical appraisal 3 x and ur done
