Just in case there are new players or people forgot, When 2.0 launched we had Dark Light ilvl70 and then we had Crafted Gear ilvl70. Doman Gear is pretty much 3.0s version of Dark Light. Esoterics gear while pretty much be the same as ilvl90 relic gear at 2.0 as well.
What is up with the lack of high end crafted gear for DoW/DoM? Highest I've seen is ilvl150. Another wasted update for crafters and gatherers. And Tier V materia is coming soon, what is the point? Not going to be rocking full ilvl150 penta melded gear, when Doman Gear (ilvl170+) is easy to obtain.
There are a lot of good things with this EXP, but this isn't one of them.
EDIT Fixed the title, Shouldn't have said "End Game". Guess people think I been BIS forever and be on par with the Esoterics gear coming out.

Good. Crafted gear should never be BiS because a) most of the playerbase can't afford the multiple millions of gil that it costs, thus putting it out of the reach of many players, and b) the high prices would encourage RMT even further.
BiS gear should be obtainable through effort, not gil. -

I don't remember if it was the same time as alexander savage/hard opens up that it was planned for though. -

I'm not saying that gear should be the highest ilvl, but we should have ilvl160-170 craft gear.
