Can Ifrit Theme be replaced to the one used in "Final Fantasy XIV From Astral to Umbral" I mean his theme seems rather basic compared to the other primals. And we know it can be done because the primal mounts received new music.

Personally I think Ifrit's theme fits. His is the moment that the threats in the game become "real" and his music reflects that.
Well, mechanics wise and in the initial story, he kinda isn't. He's the first primal we beat. Twice. Ifrit Extreme is even tiered with the "easier" primals too (Garuda, Shiva, Leviathan and him) and he doesn't even have Titan's fatherly instinct or Garuda's batpoop insanity going for him. Hell unlike all the other primals, we don't really have an accurate bead on his personality and the amal'jaa are small potatoes compared to the other beast tribes.
He's EPIC, but not as epic as the rest. It's more what he represents as a primal that makes him dangerous rather than any facet of his personality.
Ifrit's always kinda been the starter summon...thinking about that kinda makes me feel bad for him now. Maybe thats why his Egi is getting bigger in Heavensward, gotta compensate!
That said I like Ifrit's music, probably because, to me atleast, it works rather well while being surrounded by all that fire.
Nah, it's fine as is. Odd that people would want to replace something that Nobuo Uematsu composed.
No, Ifrit already has the best theme of all the primals. Thank you Uematsu!
Yeah... I find Ifrit's theme incredibly boring and, ultimately, forgettable. It's a little sad really; with the respective primal themes playing when you mount the ponies, Ifrit's pony stands out as the one I have absolutely no desire for.
Ifrit has one of the best Primal themes, so no thank you. The only ones I like better are Garuda's and Shiva's first phase.
The rock/metal themed Primal music is all terrible. They are the ones that should be replaced with something more epic.
Succumb to the Inferno !
It doesn't have any lyrics, but the theme is fitting for Ifrit, IMO.
Just give Ifrit the "Wrath of the Eikon" theme ^^

Now to be serious, no Primal theme got changed with the switch from 1.23 to ARR. Why should SE change it now? Then SE could also give Titan some opera music. There is nothing wrong with "Primal Judgement"
if anything, then the Distant Worlds orchestral version of it: https://youtu.be/9eh0N7qnvcA?t=7298
In my opinion, I found the hard rock music in this game out of place when compared of everything else (especially compared to Answers). Ifrit's fits both the scenario and the tone of the game.
It's not trying to be the same track, it's a band version of the original track where they use actual instruments rather than a computer. The band versions are the ones they play live during certain FFXIV events.
Also, Astral to Umbral includes both the band versions as well as the original versions, original version are available as MP3s on the disc.
Ifrit needs more organs themes. Like darkrai theme. Do you here that organ in the beginning? This isn't fan made BTW it is the actual theme. Now this sounds sinister and would fit ifrit perfectly. I'm sorry but ifrit current theme is bland. https://youtu.be/x9ZQBdSxRno
it was noted (and was talked about at the London Fan Fest) that the main melody of 'primal judgement' was copy written to Nobou, and instead of focusing on the main melody they focus'd on the back melodies the things people don't hear more, also, primal judgement was created with a a orchestra not computer generated, all songs from FFXIV, were created by a band/orcastra,
all the astra to umbral songs are 'covers' meaning they try to sound like the song they are covering giving it a slight twist to fit there style, and personal we need more orchestral type music, so far the main boss theme's that are out that i can think of right away that have this orchestra type music is Ultima Primal judgement (ifrit) and Rise of the white raven / bite of the black wold (bel van darns and gains van balser) the two rock themes i think fit nicely is leviathan and titan, shiva's is nice but you can see by the backlash it wasn't as appreciated as the last 2 i mentioned
I'm not so sure. I think the backlash was mostly because Shiva's theme's feel changes pretty drastically compared to the others. So you had a lot of people who liked the first (intro) half but not the 2nd (main) half. Titan's is just a slow build up, so it doesn't catch anyone too off guard; Levi's is mostly rhythmic drums (really sets the mood though; love that sorta tribal feel to it) before it starts. Levi's change in the is decently big, but shiva's is almost like hearing 2 completely different songs (which could well be the effect they were going for). I think that whiplash brought into the spot light and the split between those that liked it and those that didn't created lots of talk.
