one hour and 22 minute download time for my file...*siiiighh* I hate my net
1.6GB for a benchmark...
Thank you Kayokane! Two hours here, my net sucks as well, I'll just go do something else for awhile, and not watch the download bar >.<
My internet is so bad it's telling me it's gonna take 3-5 hours.
BRB CRYING.
:S I really didn't think it was gonna be this large a file.
7 minutes, 4 to go. In other news, the mogstation mogstore(?) was updated with new items.
MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS....

such a large file! 3 mins left to go ;A; aaaah but i've waited this long i can tough out another few mins!
5 mins here o.o
30-40 minutes for me. T_T I'm so jealous of you guys... I dearly miss my 4mb/s internet right now.
5mbs, not bad
1 solid hour to download i don't mind means i can take my morning shower :D
4 minutes for me. I can wait that long.
extraction complete! RIP sleeping tonight
3 mins download. Yay. Luckily we don't have to download from a launcher. I always find it slower that way.
In now. The new male Au Ra hairstyles are all soo glorious. Just soo much beautiful big and long hair. Some even have horns protruding from them.
So I open it.. .and it loads the splash and closes instantly. Great. -.-
Mine isn't working either. I can load the launcher itself and modify settings, but when I try to open the creator or the benchmark, it simply closes and reopens the launcher...
No problems for me!
7883 as score \o/

** This benchmark is not available on Mac OS. **
Hahahahaha....ha... 3 hours of downloading. T_T I wonder if my ethernet cord got unplugged somehow; this is how slow things were when I was wireless.
Hnrg, some of those dx11 effects are very noticeable. I like... <3
Not really for the dx11, but:
Running with my settings in-game on ARR, updated for DX11, 6804 (Ranked Very High) :D
On Max Settings 3719 (Ranked High) :3
Well Im using a gtx 460 and and amd phenom 955.
I set it to maximum and 1080p. my results
dx9=4707 high
dx11=3007 fairly high
so definitely didnt get improved performance from dx11. But this is on max setting which my old pc cant handle anyways. Now im going to run it at the setting i play at to see if theres a difference. (that dx11 water is sooooo nice.)
edit. Ran with the settings i play at.
dx9=7247 extremely high
dx11=5484 very high
Guess ill be sticking to dx9 until i upgrade my pc.
Well I got mine up and running but there is no option for the AuRa...so yeah not sure wuts going on it acts like the character creation is not updated becuz it still shows "a realm reborn"
All the available download llinks on that url all keep downloading the ARR benchmark..not sure why its doing this for me when all the info on the url is about heavensward..
[update] problem fixed you HAVE to clear cache if it keeps downloading ARR =.=
If you can't launch the bench, try to go to the option folder of the folder where you put the benchmark, then make sure the "read only" option is not check.
Wasn't able to launch the bench till I uncheck this options.
DX11 1920x1080, ultra everything
Score: 13898
Notes: Almost no stuttering whatsoever, meaning switch to DX11 boosts AMD card performance significantly
Notes 2: Dual card seems to be making a huge difference in DX11 ultra preset. I was getting about 50 fps at the beginning with one card, versus 120+ average with two cards in the same scene.
DX9 1920x1080, ultra everything
Score: 13393
Notes: Lots of stuttering like current game with AMD card, no multi-card support: 35 fps momentarily at big giant dragon fish thingy in sky
My hardware is:
CPU: i7 4771
RAM: 8GB
OS: Windows 8.1 Pro
GPU: R9 290X x2 (CROSSFIRE)
1920 x 1080 Maximum settings DX11
Using a GTX660ti
Score: 6299
Performance: Very High
Not too bad I guess. I was planning to upgrade anyway.
Does anyone know how to add the character we made in the character creation section into the benchmark for testing?
Excuse my ignorance but what is this?
Only took a couple minutes to download, though slower than I would have expected for only 1.6 GB.
2560x1600 Borderless Windowed
i7-2600k @ 4.1Ghz
GTX 780
Max settings, scored 7407 with DX9, and 5044 with DX11
Edit: 1920x1080 Windowed DX11 max settings scored 8785.
