Please Let Us Zoom Out About 10% More AND Look Straight UP

I know you don't want our view clipping through our models but I think you could tilt the camera tighter to our front or back so we could look almost straight up (right now our view can only tilt to staring at about 10 o' clock if 6 o' clock were our feet).

As well, with the massive scale of some of the creatures in this game, I think it's time the camera zoom-out were expanded roughly 10-15%... besides, I thought our view was cut a bit short before they added bosses like Cerberus or Vishap.

Please SE, what do you think?

P.S. Should this be in "User Interface"? Doesn't have to do with the HUD so I didn't think so.

I'd also like to see these changes.

YES! We need to be able to zoom out more. (Especially after that crack the devs made about us being too zoomed in on Titan and that's why we suck).
I've seen some screen shots of people on ultra wide monitors and/or with 3rd party tools who can zoom out to see Ifrit's entire arena, but we shouldn't have to resort to either just to zoom out...

The ability to look straight up would be grand, but zooming out is more important.

This would be great- please make this a thing, SE.

Especially for Leviathan EX -.- *Twitch* Trying to find the marking water spouts make me suck hardcore once the rails come off no matter how much people say 'it's easy'. Need moare field of vision! D:

Totally support this. It'll be especially noticeable once flying mounts are around. Looking straight up will be important to that. <.<;

its set to that limit for a reason there would actually be alot of work involved i can see them changing it a bit for heavensward but i doubt it would change much everywhere else they dont want to change stuff in the rest of the realm yet because theres so much work to be done before they can have flying mounts in the rest of eorzea if ever

10-20% more would be great. There are times I can't quickly target things because they are too big and I am close and zoomed all the way out doesn't help. So I have to shift around my camera till I can.

I can't see the heads of most bosses on my lala. A further zoom level would be awesome.

Use you ears in addition to your eyes. Stand in the middle of the boat looking one way. If it doesn't appear in front of you the sound will tip you off to which direction the spout is behind you.

There's also a pattern. He can only come up from 4 spots. Watch where he jumps and lands initially, that corner is the center of the 4 spots he can jump from (both spots on the short side of the boat, and the middle + the end on the long side of the boat). The next jump is the same except for the 4 positions at the corner diagonal to the first corner.

on steps i had to move around a bit to target but its pretty realistic if there was something that big in front of you you would have to take a few steps back to target it

Totally agree with OP! Would love to be able to look straight up and zoom out further to enjoy all of the beautiful environments that the artists and designers worked so hard to create.

If that were allowed they would have to do something about the ceiling that would otherwise prevent Titan from jumping and staying in the air for that 5 seconds.

It's pretty unrealistic if I have to take a few steps back to hit this thing that's within arm's reach and unobstructed. :(

Wooo I agree why design detailed ceilings in a lot of areas if we can't look up high enough to appreciate them >.>...

But... If people can zoom out even more.... We lalas are going to be invisible for them!
