We're not dicks, it's just she was looking for information on an article she wrote from the lodestone for an event that hasn't even started yet, in a language we don't speak or understand. Since we had trouble deciding on what to even ask her, we also tried to get information on the outfit. The shirt had two birds on it, which I guess are supposed to be raven's, since she writes for the Raven. She had a pack on the belt with some sort of glyph on it. A smaller pack on the belt reminded me of a tetramaster card, so I felt like plugging Tetra Master.

Its probbably just that the character in question shouldnt know the details you/whoever was trying to question her about so she couldnt give you a responce and SE doesnt want the gms to release spoilers. That and she was asking the questions not the other way around. Worth a try the first time i suppose.

I think the gear is just an assortment of assets that they have lying around that are unused; then they throw them together to make them look nice. The belt seemed like it could come from an arcanist, though, because of the glyph on the pack. It's really anyone's guess though.

Also, if you do those quests where they make you secure funding from merchants, you can see the merchants wearing similar books. It's just an embellishment that the developers used to show merchant/civillian/reporters. I wouldn't read anymore into it than that, if you want my advice. Not that you do. But whatever. There it is all the same.

Interesting and what a nice way to link articles we read on Lodestone or forums to actual npcs in the game world it adds a bit of realism i think. Im speculating a Sept 20th release or thereabouts for 1.19 since its when the event ends. Cant wait.
