I noticed this too, I wasn't sure if it was intended or not, but it's really hard to calculate your DPS seeing any attack completely depletes its HP...
mine is also lv. 1, no one i ask knows who to fix it.
Hey guys,
We'll see if it's possible to beef up the oriental striking dummy and change it into a level 50 dummy in the future.
I suppose a follow up question to this that I have would be:
Would the striking dummies stay level 50, or will they be raised to level 60 in the expansion? Or perhaps there will be new striking dummies that are set to level 60?
Please keep it Level 1, it is nice to have a dummy without accuracy requirements, specifically for levelling a new DPS Job.
However, can we get a target ring added to all dummies? the Oriental dummy in particular is extremely difficult to find flank and rear on.
Rather than make it level 50 have two crafting types, one level 1 the other level 50.
Keep it at level 1. I'm getting tired of doing Mercy Stroke out of habit of seeing the dotted lines.
There's no reason to have any of them at 50, they don't take more damage or less depending on level. There's no "level correction" like ffxi had.
Also hope they keep this one @ lvl 1; I hadn't previously been aware it was but am now glad to hear there is that option available. (even if all of them should have always been lvl 1)
Edit: and can SE reps stop coming into threads and saying "we'll look into changing this" based on 1 or a few people's idea? Get a consensus first. (which is impossible to do on this forum because of how many players avoid it)
Why not just give dummies a setting when you place them which allows you to select what level it is and or various other stats.
clearly having that ability to set the level yourself is the answer here. Don't assume that just because a dev showed up that it gonna happen next day... look into means talk about it with other people on the production side which are probably saying the same stuff y'all are.
