No swishing of the arms of Midlanders.
No weird catwalk (although that was probbaly on purpose) of the Miqote
No weird stiff looking run of Elezen, Highlanders and Roes.
Just a simple walk and a normal looking run.

Walking is alright, I quite like it. Running however, she looked so stiff, and robotic with the movement of her arms.

I think Midlanders stole FFXI Elvaan runs. I would run for days as an Elvaan and always think I looked just like a princess. Imagine my surprise when I fantasia'd to Elezen and found I ran as stiff as a tree trunk.

It's very unique, I find most of the other runs look somewhat similar (unless their weapon is out, of course. Then everyone has the same animations), but Midlander's stands out the most. I love it. I wish my Miqo'te had the same run. I tried being Midlander myself once, but I missed my tail too much.Quote:

I think they captured it quite well. Miqo'te emotes are very innocent and child-like, without being the same over-the-top cute that Lalafells are (because, they're basically toddlers. You can't really get any cuter than a toddler). I think the animations and emotes suit all the races rather well. -

Well, I wanted something fierce and beastial, the best I could go with was miqo'te, but they were too cute. I tried Roe for a little while but their arms weirded me out, same with elezen necks *shiver* so I am really looking forward to Au Ra and I am also glad they have "normal" running and walking animations :D
