Does this mean that poetics will have the weekly cap removed as well? Final Coil is also being added to Duty Finder, so this seems like the logical thing to happen on the 31st.

They never removed weekly caps from the newest tomestones before, I doubt they will do it now.
However, we may much more likely see an increase in the amount we can get each week which is something that has happened previously. -

Well we never had raids (Binding Coil) added to duty finder or weekly loot restriction removed before the inclusion of a new main patch (or in this case, an expansion) either for that matter, so that's why I'm curious.

When the new replacement form of tomestones come into play the old poetics cap will be raised to 2000 most likely but the cap will not be removed or increase until the replacement for it is added to the game, until that time it will remain capped at 450. The soldiery tomes will be handled like myth tomes were handled in that they will be convertible into poetics and the soldiery gear will then be added to dungeons drops like myth gear was. The new tomes which replace poetics will be capped probably around 500 or so like poetics currently are.

How is WoD loot equal to having no tomestone cap?
WoD gear is only 120, and while some jobs can find parts that are BiS until later in Final Coil, most of the gear is much better as 130 versions, which you can get with Poetic gear.
WoD also doesn't have any accessories.
EDIT: Also, the expansion is close, but still over 3 months away, what are we supposed to do while waiting for that if we can just gear up all jobs in a couple of days? -
