The chained up dragon in 6:36 reminds me of Bahamut....I wonder if it was chained up by Ishgardians and is the reason for the war

Problem is, we can't be sure what places will be dungeons what places will be their own zones and what places will be simply parts of an existing zone. You know like what the Floating Continent or the Chocobo Forest will be. Or Sharlayan. Sharlayan is in Dravania. Coerthas had five areas in 1.0. Oh damn I will have to run and fly a lot

I love the Gothic setting. One of my characters was born from that. And that dragon riding....

The fields look amazing, I've flown in wow and FFXIV's areas look significantly more exciting to be in- no less while enjoying a z axis aspect~

I was/am mobile and haven't had a chance to exam peacefully (lol), but did anyone see any airhips? Just curious.

Nice to see we'll still be exploring Allagan territory up in the skies! Was worried we'd be done with them after 3.0 but there are still so many mysteries!

Are there going to be creatures or other enemies that could knock us off our flying mounts while in the air.

One thing I will complain about though, the new 60 armor looks great...for most jobs. Blm is not one of those jobs -.- Awesome looking armor? Waist cape (pld)? NOPE, NOT FOR BLM! We get a shirt, tights and a mask... lol it just doesn't feel very blm ish

One of those areas looked suspiciously like the wanderer's palace architecture. The Floating City of Nym, perhaps?

The floating City of Nym is not really big, just like a castle, you can see it in Outer La Noscea and it's not located in the north of Eorzea so it's unlikely ( Still I hope it will be a dungeon somehow in 3.0 )

You called what, exactly? That the teaser would feature 7 locations? This is a teaser trailer showcasing some of the new locations and is far from a comprehensive list. For example data miners recently discovered files pertaining to some of the new expansion zones that connect to those we already have. Coerthas Western Highlands was one of those regions found in the files, along with West Shroud which is NOT in that trailer. Declaring that you 'called it' based on a teaser is a bit premature, especially when we already know there's more than that...

As for the release date, SE themselves already stated Spring 2015 and most people had already guessed late May as the release based on the 3-month patch cycle we have. In the presentation they admit that late May actually WAS the planned release date and they only recently put it back. So at the time you 'called' that you were actually wrong...

Can you also upload the videos from Fan Fest showing off the jobs and races on Youtube. The twitch/Nico Nico videos arent very clear, was hoping to see the scale details in the Au Ra while we wait for the new benchmark :3

Actually, a majority of people were guessing it'd be April. And considering SE said recently that it was planned for May and I had guessed upon first news of the expansion being in Spring, so no, I wasn't wrong

There are no "1.0 files still in the data files". Everything was redone and incompatible with each other.

I'm like 99% sure that music at the very end is a remix of the Sealed Cave / Esper world song. Which isn't surprising mind you, but still yay.

I'm guessing that we're getting less regions but they will be bigger and more massive than the ones we currently have. Right now we have numerous small regions so I guess in the expansion we will get as much space but with less regions with the regions this time being bigger. They did say we would get the same space as the base game (2.0) but with more massive regions.

I'm wondering how they'll manage travel restrictions..? Lots of invisible walls? Or a certain height we can't fly above that's bordered by mountains and the like? Maybe areas that are no fly zones altogether (due to security regulations or something, maybe..?)..? Maybe even a gauntlet of high level enemies that can one shot us no matter what our iLevel and that get denser the further we go, making it impossible to get past a certain point... We're only able to access a single continent so they can't have us flying too far out to sea or anything like that. A 2m deep river isn't going to be enough to block areas off anymore.
