I just want to say, a little variety wouldn't hurt. I won the Bluebird Earrings in the Starlight Celebration screenshot contest and the rewards for the 3 next contests are the same earrings.

I would have say the same thing before Yitan, but now I understand why there are multiple contests with the same reward: it is to give more chances to players who didnt win the others contests, and that is a good thing :)

Awww. This seems like such a fun contest, but alas I already have a pair of earrings T_T

I'm disappointed this is EU only. For once it was a contest I actually stood a shot of maybe participating in and had oodles of ideas for. Oh well.

I guess it is to make up for the fact that EU did not get a Valentione contest. I am disappointed too, though! NA has such a different food culture, it would have been neat to see the different dish selections between the regions!

For our photos, could I put images together using Photoshop so that I can show more progress shots? Or is that not allowed?

Hello Chiramu,

You can already put up to 5 "progress" pictures plus one of the finished dish. Do you want to put more than that ?

I was just concerned with not being able to show enough of the cooking progress and then being forced to choose which photos would be better to add to my entry then others :(.

Apparently it's only worth participating in a contest if you get an item for doing it...

I would participate for the fun of it, but since there is a limited amount of winners across all languages, I don't want to win a second earring that could have gone to someone who hasn't got one yet.

What is the point of a contest if the winners don't get a prize? And what is the value of a prize if everyone gets it?

I think this is probably because the previous "Be My Valentione" contest was NA only and anyone who entered correctly, got a prize:

Wow nobody has entered. If this was available for the NA version I would of entered for sure.

^ I think it took a day or two for non-screenshot entries to start popping up in the NA Valentione contest too though.

It takes a while to get it ready. You need to come up with the idea and then you need the ingredients and then you need to make it... You can't wave a magic wand and have it done >.>.

Also, the EU contest is split between three languages. You'll never see all the entries if you only look at the English forum, we have one German entry(a pretty cool entry too!)

I plan to get baking this weekend :D!

Adding my voice hoping for a NA cooking contest sometime! The live letter mentioned that the Japanese players would be getting one soon in conjunction with the Eorzea Cafe, so feeling left out! (Unless that one is open to other regions.) (And yes I realize that this was EU only to balance out the Valentonne NA only contest.)
