Valentione’s Day is the perfect time to show that special someone in your life, whether they be your lifetime partner or an NPC you’ve loved from afar, just how much you care about them! We’re tasking adventurers with getting their hands dirty (sometimes literally) by creating a special Valentione’s Day gift for the object of their affection. How to Enter
Create an original Valentione-themed item in real life and submit a photo of it. You could make a piece of artwork, a home-cooked dish, or a self-made Valentione’s card! You’re only limited by your imagination! Entries must contain proof of originality by including the entrant’s character name, World name, and title of the creation somewhere within the image.

Rules for Entry
  • The Valentione-themed creation must have been made by the user who is entering the contest.
  • The entry image must contain an identifier that displays character name, World name, and the title of the submission.
  • Entries must match the theme of the contest.
  • Entries must have been created for this contest. Previously created items cannot be used to enter.
  • One entry per person. If multiple entries are posted, only the first submission will be valid.
  • You must have a North America Square Enix Account to qualify for the North America region.
  • Normal forum rules apply to all posts within the contest thread.
  • Square Enix reserves the right to judge whether or not material is appropriate for public display in its sole discretion.

When posting your entry, you may utilize image hosting sites such as the Lodestone, Flickr, Imgur, etc. Please note that some image hosting websites, such as Flickr, will delete images when an account is inactive for a certain amount of time, so make sure to verify this when choosing a site to host your entry.

Inappropriate submissions will be moderated. Any entries that fall under any of the below categories will be disqualified and the post will be deleted by a moderator:
  • Posts containing obscenity, vulgarity, discrimination, or any other offensive subject matter;
  • Infringements upon copyright/intellectual property, personal credit, privacy, etc.;
  • Counter to public order and/or morals;
  • Submissions with content judged to be grossly deviant from the established theme; and
  • Images that have been heavily modified by photo editing software.
  • Images that do not contain a visible display of the Character Name, Server and submission title.

Selection
Entries will be judged against the contest rules and requirements and all qualifying entries will be awarded the prize. Square Enix reserves the right to disqualify entries in its sole discretion.

1. ELIGIBILITY

Prizes will be awarded within one month after winners are announced. No substitutions or exchanges (including for cash) of any prizes will be permitted, except that Square Enix reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for any prize listed in the table above. Prizes won by a Minor (as determined by the laws of the contestant's state of residence) will be awarded to a parent or legal guardian on the Minor's behalf. Actual retail value of prizes may vary due to market conditions at the time prizes are awarded. 6. GENERAL RELEASE

8. USE OF WINNER'S NAME, LIKENESS, ETC.

Except where prohibited by law, entry into the contest constitutes permission to use the winners' voice, names, addresses, likenesses, and/or prize information, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further permission or compensation. As a condition of being awarded any prize, except where prohibited by law, winners may be required to execute consent to the use of their name, address, likeness, and/or prize information, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further permission or compensation.

9. AFFIDAVIT & RELEASE

As a condition of being awarded any prize, winners (and if winner is a Minor, winner's parent or legal guardian) may be required to execute and deliver to Square Enix a signed Affidavit of Eligibility and acceptance of these Official Contest Rules and release of liability.
